Private Duty Nursing Service definition

Private Duty Nursing Service means services received in a Skilled Nursing Facility provided on a one- to-one basis by an actively practicing registered nurse (R.N.) or licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.). Private Duty Nursing is shift nursing of 8 hours or greater per day and does not include nursing care of less than 8 hours per day. Private Duty Nursing Service does not include Custodial Care Service.
Private Duty Nursing Service means a service provided by a private duty nursing agency.
Private Duty Nursing Service means nursing services for patients who require more individual and continuous care than is available from a visiting nurse.

  • Private Duty Nursing Service must be authorized by the Bureau of Medicaid Policy and Reimbursement prior to delivery of service.

  • Private Duty Nursing Service provided by an Idaho licensed nurse to certain eligible children for whom the need for such service has been identified in an EPSDT screen.

  • The program does not include and is not intended to provide benefits for Private Duty Nursing Service.

  • Your coverage includes benefits for the following Covered Services: • Blood and Blood Components • Outpatient Private Duty Nursing Service—Benefits for Outpatient Private Duty Nursing Service will be provided to you in your home only when the services are of such a nature that they cannot be provided by non‐professional personnel and can only be provided by a licensed health care Provider.

  • Nursing services means the provision of individual-specific advice, plans, or interventions by a nurse at a home based on the nursing process as outlined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Nursing services differ from administrative nursing services.

  • 911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.

  • Family planning services means services for clients of child bearing age (including minors who can be considered to be sexually active) who desire such services and that are intended to prevent pregnancy or otherwise limit family size.

  • Housing Specialist means a specialized position dedicated to developing the full array of housing options for their program and monitoring their sustainability for the population served in accordance with the minimal housing standards policy set by County for their program. The Housing Specialist is also responsible for assisting Participants with applications to low- income housing, housing subsidies, senior housing, etc.

  • Professional service means the same as defined under RCW 18.100.030.

  • System Services means the SRS, DNS Name Server and Whois services for the Registry TLD for which availability and Performance Specifications are established.

  • Nursing home-type patients means a patient who has been in hospital more than 35 days, no longer requires acute hospital care, cannot live independently at home or be looked after at home, and either cannot be placed in a nursing home or a nursing home place is not available.

  • Police Service means the South African Police Service established by section 5(1) of the South African Police Service Act;
