Private Water System definition

Private Water System means a source of water other than the Corporation's water distribution system.

Private Water System means any supply which provides water for drinking, culinary, and sanitary purposes and serves an owner-occupied single family dwelling. (Section 9(a)(5) of the Illinois Groundwater Protection Act [415 ILCS 55/9(a)(5)])

Private Water System means any privately owned pipe and fittings intended for the delivery or distribution of water within a premise or to a property and includes any domestic use, irrigation system, green house and hydroponics system, and any other use of water supplied by the Waterworks System;

Examples of Private Water System in a sentence

• Pursuant to the Private Water System Declaration, (i) the land within the Project will need to obtain water for both domestic use and fire protection through a private water system and (ii) provision of a sufficient private water system serving the land within the Project must be made at the time any building permit application for improvements on the land is submitted.

• Backflow means the reversal of the normal direction of flow from a Private Water System or from a Contaminant source, to a RDNO Waterworks System.

More Definitions of Private Water System

Private Water System means any water system, other than a public water supply system, for the provision of water for human consumption, if the system has fewer than fifteen service connections and does not regularly serve an average of at least twenty- five individuals daily at least sixty days each year. A private water system includes any:
