Service connections definition

Service connections means any utility facility installed overhead or underground between a distribution main, pipelines, or other sources of supply and the premises of the individual customer.
Service connections means the total number of active and inactive service lines originating from a water distribution main for the purpose of delivering water intended for human consumption. For municipalities, rural water districts, mobile home parks, housing developments, and similar facilities, this includes, but is not limited to, occupied and unoccupied residences and buildings, provided that there is a service line connected to the water main (or another service line), and running onto the property.
