Vigilance and Ethics Officer means an officer appointed to receive protected disclosures from whistle blowers, maintaining records thereof, placing the same before the Audit Committee for its disposal and informing the Whistle Blower the result thereof.
Campus police officer means a school security officer designated by the board of education of any school district pursuant to K.S.A. 72-6146, and amendments thereto.
Certified peace officer means a peace officer certified by the
continuing professional development means the continuing professional development contemplated in section 32;
Competent and reliable scientific evidence means tests, analyses, research, studies, or other evidence based on the expertise of professionals in the relevant area, that has been conducted and evaluated in an objective manner by persons qualified to do so, using procedures generally accepted in the profession to yield accurate and reliable results.
Corporate Secretary means the corporate secretary of the Corporation;
Chief Pretrial Services Officer (i.e., CPSO) means the individual appointed by the court to supervise the work of the court’s pretrial services staff. For the purpose of the contract, the “Chief Probation Officer” acts as the contract administrator on behalf of the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
Chief Probation Officer (i.e., CUSPO) means the individual appointed by the United States District Court to supervise the work of the court’s probation staff. For the purpose of the contract, the “Chief Probation Officer” acts as the contract administrator on behalf of the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
Preclearance Officer means the person designated as the Preclearance Officer in Appendix 2 hereof.
Seattle Human Resources Director means the director of the Seattle Department of Human Resources or his or her designated management representative.
Probation Officer (i.e., USPO) means an individual appointed by the United States District Court to provide pretrial, presentence and supervision (pre and post sentence) services for the court. “Probation Officer” refers to the individual responsible for the direct supervision of a client receiving drug/alcohol testing and/or treatment and/or mental health treatment services.
Chief Nursing Executive means the senior nurse employed by the Hospital who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for nursing services provided in the Hospital;
senior police officer means a police officer of, or above, the rank of inspector.
Compliance Officer means Company Secretary or such other senior officer, who is financially literate and is capable of appreciating requirements for legal and regulatory compliance under these regulations designated so and reporting to the Board of Directors and who shall be responsible for compliance of policies, procedures, maintenance of records, monitoring adherence to the rules for the preservation of unpublished price sensitive information, monitoring of trades and the implementation of the codes specified in these regulations under the overall supervision of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Corporate governance annual disclosure means a report an insurer or insurance group files in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 16b, Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure Act.
Executive Secretary means the executive secretary of the board.

College President means the chief executive officer of the college appointed by the board of trustees.
Non-Executive Directors means the Directors who are not in whole time employment of the Company.
Employment office means a free public employment office, or branch thereof, operated by this state or maintained as a part of a state-controlled system of public employment offices.
President means the President of the Corporation.
Wildlife officer means any individual authorized by a participating state to issue a citation for a wildlife violation.
Whistle Officer or “Committee” means an officer or Committee of persons who is nominated/appointed to conduct detailed investigation.
Chief means Chief Agri/Industrial, a division of Chief Industries, Inc.
Continuing Director means at any date a member of the Board (i) who was a member of the Board on the date of the execution of this Agreement or (ii) who was nominated or elected subsequent to such date by at least a majority of the directors who were Continuing Directors at the time of such nomination or election or whose election to the Board was recommended or endorsed by at least a majority of the directors who were Continuing Directors at the time of such nomination or election; provided, however, that there shall be excluded from this clause (ii) any individual whose initial assumption of office occurred as a result of an actual or threatened election contest with respect to the election or removal of directors or other actual or threatened solicitation of proxies or consents, by or on behalf of a person other than the Board; or
