Examples of Probation Period in a sentence
All new Employees, excluding Casual Employees, will be subject to a six (6) month probation period commencing from their start date (Probation Period).
During the Probation Period, the Employee’s performance, behaviour and suitability for ongoing employment will be assessed by Auto & General.
During the Probation Period, either the Employee or Auto & General may terminate the Employee’s employment by giving one (1) week’s written notice, or in the case of Auto & General, by making a payment in lieu of notice to the Employee for all, or part of, the notice period, unless the Employee is terminated for Serious Misconduct, in which case the employment may be terminated without notice in accordance with clause 35.2.
Additional Purchased Leave is provided as an Employee benefit and enables Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time Employees who have successfully completed their Probation Period to increase their Annual Leave entitlement by ‘purchasing’ up to two (2) weeks additional leave per twelve (12) month period in return for a reduced annual salary.
If the Client fails to pay the Introduction Fee by the Introduction Fee Due Date, they will lose their ability to receive a free replacement or credit should the Candidate leave the Engagement within the Probation Period (see clause 8).
