Program Access Improvements definition

Program Access Improvements means all Program Access work performed by or on behalf of the City to bring any Pedestrian Facilities in the City into compliance with applicable Accessibility Laws.

Program Access Improvements means and refers to Program Access work performed by or on behalf of Defendants necessary to bring Pedestrian Facilities and/or Park and Ride Facilities into compliance with Accessibility Guidelines including but not limited to (i) installation of Curb Ramps where such ramps are missing; (ii) upgrades to existing Curb Ramps; (iii) repair of broken and/or uneven pavement on a Pedestrian Facility; (iv) correction of noncompliant cross-slopes along Pedestrian Facilities; (v) removal of protruding and overhanging objects and/or obstructions that narrow the Pedestrian Facility; and/or (vi) widening of Pedestrian Facilities.

Examples of Program Access Improvements in a sentence

  • The Parties agree to the following terms as the final and complete resolution of the claims pertaining to the City’s funding for Program Access Improvements during the Compliance Period.

  • The parties agree that all Program Access Improvements under this Section 12 shall comply with the standards set forth in the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design or the then-current iteration of Title 24 of the California Building Code, whichever provides greater protection or access to persons with Mobility Disabilities.

  • Each year of the Compliance Period, the City shall maintain and operate a policy and procedure for Settlement Class members to submit requests for Program Access Improvements at locations identified by such members (the “Access Request Program”).

  • The City shall expend a total of $1,367,142,684 during the Compliance Period for Program Access Improvements.

  • The Parties agree that any and all amounts expended by the City in fiscal year 2015-16 (and in any period thereafter prior to the time that this Settlement Agreement becomes Final) to make Program Access Improvements (or for other expenditures to implement the Settlement Agreement as set forth in Sections 12.4 and 12.11, below) shall count towards the City’s performance of its funding obligation under Section 12.2(a) as to the first year (Year 1) of the Compliance Period.

  • Allocation of Annual Commitment of Funds for Program Access Improvements.

  • Program Access Improvements will use the same prioritization system as the City Facilities program described above in Part II, "City Facilities Program”, and Table 2 - City Facilities and Program Access Improvements Prioritization Matrix.

  • The selection of projects for Program Access Improvements will be based on needed Program Access Improvements that have been identified by the Department through Access Requests and other means.

  • Program Access Improvements Program Access Improvements will include sites reported by the general public as needing repair, as well as other pedestrian facilities to be repaired by the City.

  • However, the Department retains ultimate discretion in the selection and timing of the projects on which the Annual Commitment funds for Program Access Improvements will be spent.

Related to Program Access Improvements

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Licensee Improvements means Improvements created, conceived, or reduced to practice by or for Licensee.

  • Needs Improvement the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall is below the requirements of a standard or overall, but is not considered to be unsatisfactory at this time. Improvement is necessary and expected.  Unsatisfactory: the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall has not significantly improved following a rating of needs improvement, or the Educator’s performance is consistently below the requirements of a standard or overall and is considered inadequate, or both.

  • Joint Improvements means Improvements the inventors of which are jointly (a) employees of, or others obligated to assign inventions to, ImmunoGen or any Affiliate of ImmunoGen, and (b) employees of, or others obligated to assign inventions to, Lilly or any Affiliate of Lilly.

  • Minimum Improvements means the acquisition of land and construction of a 64-unit market rate residential apartment building and related improvements. The Minimum Improvements are more fully depicted in Exhibit B, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas. Infrastructure improvements also include 1 or more of the following whether publicly or privately owned or operated or located on public or private property:

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Public Improvements means only the following improvements: housing facilities; garbage disposal plants; rubbish disposal plants; incinerators; transportation systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; sewage disposal systems, including sanitary sewers, combined sanitary and storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of sewage or industrial wastes; storm water systems, including storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of storm water; water supply systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with obtaining a water supply, the treatment of water, or the distribution of water; utility systems for supplying light, heat, or power, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; approved cable television systems, approved cable communication systems, or telephone systems, including plants, works,

  • Private Improvements means the improvements to be constructed on the Property that are not Public Improvements.

  • Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);

  • Public improvement costs means the costs of:

  • Public improvement means projects for construction, reconstruction or major renovation on real property by or for a public agency. “Public Works” shall mean roads, highways, buildings, structures and improvement of all types, the construction, reconstruction, major renovation or painting of which is carried on or contracted for by any public agency to serve the public interest by does not include the reconstruction or renovation of privately owned property which is leased by a public agency.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Capital Improvement Project means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, appurtenances to roads and bridges to enhance the safety of animal-drawn vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities including real property, interests in real property, facilities, and equipment related or incidental to those facilities.

  • Substitute Improvements means the substitute or additional improvements of the Issuer described in Article V hereof.

  • Continuous Improvement Plan means a plan for improving the provision of the Goods and/or Services and/or reducing the Charges produced by the Supplier pursuant to Framework Schedule 12 (Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking);

  • Development Phase means the period before a vehicle type is type approved.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.
