Program Access Improvements definition

Program Access Improvements means all work performed by or on behalf of the City
Program Access Improvements means all Program Access work performed by or on behalf of the City to bring any Pedestrian Facilities in the City into compliance with applicable Accessibility Laws.
Program Access Improvements means all work performed by or on behalf of the City to bring the City’s Existing Pedestrian Facilities into compliance with the Program Access requirements of the ADA and Section 504.

More Definitions of Program Access Improvements

Program Access Improvements means and refers to Program Access work performed by or on behalf of Defendants necessary to bring Pedestrian Facilities and/or Park and Ride Facilities into compliance with Accessibility Guidelines including but not limited to (i) installation of Curb Ramps where such ramps are missing; (ii) upgrades to existing Curb Ramps; (iii) repair of broken and/or uneven pavement on a Pedestrian Facility; (iv) correction of noncompliant cross-slopes along Pedestrian Facilities; (v) removal of protruding and overhanging objects and/or obstructions that narrow the Pedestrian Facility; and/or (vi) widening of Pedestrian Facilities.

Related to Program Access Improvements

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Public improvement means projects for construction, reconstruction or major renovation on real property by or for a public agency. “Public Works” shall mean roads, highways, buildings, structures and improvement of all types, the construction, reconstruction, major renovation or painting of which is carried on or contracted for by any public agency to serve the public interest by does not include the reconstruction or renovation of privately owned property which is leased by a public agency.

  • Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:
