Public Access Channel definition

Public Access Channel means a PEG channel, as defined in s. 66.0420 (2) (s), that is used for public access pur- poses, but does not include a PEG channel that is used for govern- mental or educational purposes.
Public Access Channel means any Channel on a Cable System set aside by a Franchisee for Noncommercial use by the general public, including groups and individuals, and which is available for such use on a non-discriminatory basis.
Public Access Channel means channel capacity designated for non- commercial public access use.

More Definitions of Public Access Channel

Public Access Channel means any channel or portion of a channel where any member of the general public may be a programmer on a non-discriminatory basis. Nothing in this Franchise shall prevent the Grantor or its designee from carrying out fundraising activities to supplement access capital or operating funds, and such fundraising activity shall not in itself constitute a commercial use of access channels, facilities and equipment.
Public Access Channel means a channel on a cable system that is reserved for noncommercial use by members of the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
Public Access Channel means a channel that is required under a franchise granted under s. 66.0419 (3) (b) by a city, village, or town to a cable operator, as defined in s. 66.0419
Public Access Channel or “Public Access” means any Access channel or portion of an Access channel where any member of the general public or any non-commercial organization may be an Access Programmer on a non-discriminatory basis, subject to operating rules formulated by the Grantor or its designee. Such rules will not be designed to control the content of public access programming.
Public Access Channel or “Community Program Channel” shall mean the channel(s) or portion of a channel or channels on the Cable System required by this Franchise to be designated or dedicated by Grantee for use by Users and which is (are) available for such use on a non-discriminatory basis.
Public Access Channel or "community access channel" means any channel on a cable system set aside by a cable company for use by the general public, including groups and individuals, and which is available for such use on a non-discriminatory basis under the terms and conditions set forth by an agency established by interlocal agreement for oversight of such access.
Public Access Channel means a specific channel on the Cable System made available by Licensee to the Issuing Authority for the presentation of non-commercial Programming and/or information to the public.
