Public Common Carrier definition

Public Common Carrier means any bus, coach, taxi, ferry, hovercraft, hydrofoil, ship, train, tram or underground train provided and operated by a carrier duly licensed for the regular transportation of fare-paying passengers; or any fixed-wing aircraft provided and operated by an airline or an air charter company which is duly licensed for the regular transportation of fare-paying passengers; or any helicopter provided and operated by an airline which is duly licensed for the regular transportation of fare-paying passengers and operating only between established commercial airports or licensed commercial heliports; or any regularly scheduled airport limousine operating on fixed routes and schedules.
Public Common Carrier means:-any mechanically propelled conveyance operated by a company or an individual to provide a duly licensed and scheduled service (other than contractor or private carrier) which any member of public can join at a recognized stop and pay a fare.
Public Common Carrier means any mechanically propelled conveyance which operated by a company or an individual duly licensed for the regular transportation of fare-paying passengers or for hired.

  • Proof of such losses or damage must be obtained in writing from the hotel management, the Public Common Carrier, or through making a report to the police having jurisdiction over the place of the loss.

  • In the event that the Insured Person fails to board the Public Common Carrier during the Journey due to missed transportation connection for which the Insured Person has obtained a confirmed reservation, We will pay expenses reasonably incurred for the accommodation and meals outside Hong Kong, if it is not provided or compensated by the Public Common Carrier or any third party.

  • We shall reimburse the balance if the Insured Person is not fully compensated by the Public Common Carrier subject to the limit under this Section of the Policy.
