Public Health Requirements definition

Public Health Requirements means all applicable international, federal, state, and local public health and safety laws, rules, regulations, guidance, policies, directives and plans, as amended, supplemented, updated and replaced from time to time, including without limitation (a) guidance, policies, directives and plans from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the State of Illinois, including its Department of Public Health, the City of Chicago, including its Department of Public Health, presidential, gubernatorial and mayoral executive orders, and (b) COVID-19 policies, guidance, directives and plans from other international, federal, state, and local governments, departments and agencies. The Student Housing Agreement incorporates the University’s Rambler Promise set forth in the University’s Community Standards (available at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/osccr/communitystandards/) (together with any updates, amendments, substitutions or replacements thereto from time to time, the "Rambler Promise"), and the Rambler Promise is part of the Student Housing Agreement. The University will have the right to update and unilaterally amend this Student Housing Agreement and the Rambler Promise from time to time to incorporate best public health practices, as applied to the University, and to incorporate Public Health Requirements. The University’s Community Standards, including the Rambler Promise, along with other relevant documents, can be found here: xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/reslife/resources/forms/. All references herein to the "Student Housing Agreement" shall mean and include both (a) this Preamble and Sections A through Q below, and (b) the Rambler Promise.
Public Health Requirements means any guidance, appraisals, recommendations, requirements, codes of practice or other similar documents issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence or any Other Regulatory Body in relation to the provision of public health services;
Public Health Requirements means orders, recommendations, and guidelines of a Health Official that are made to reduce the risk of exposure to, transmission of, or infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus during the COVID-19 pandemic;

  • Federal safety requirements means applicable provisions of 49 U.S.C. § 30101 et seq. and all

  • Safety Requirements means Prudent Electrical Practices, CPUC General Order No. 167, Contractor Safety Program Requirements, and all applicable requirements of Law, PG&E, the Utility Distribution Company, the Transmission Provider, Governmental Approvals, the CAISO, CARB, NERC and WECC.

  • Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements means all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, regulations, and ordinances concerning public health and safety, worker health and safety, and pollution or protection of the environment, including without limitation all those relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, labeling, testing, processing, discharge, release, threatened release, control, or cleanup of any hazardous materials, substances or wastes, as such requirements are enacted and in effect on or prior to the Closing Date.

  • Pretreatment requirements means any substantive or procedural requirement related to pretreatment, other than a pretreatment standard, imposed on an industrial user.

  • Public health emergency means an emergency with respect to COVID–19 declared by a Federal, State, or local authority.

  • OHS Requirements means all Laws applicable to the Supply and related to occupational health or safety, and all of the City Policies that relate to occupational health or safety, and includes without limitation the WCA;

  • Privacy Requirements means all applicable Privacy Laws and all of the Company’s and the Company Subsidiaries’ policies, notices, and contractual obligations relating to the Processing of Personal Information.

  • Program Requirements means certain minimum program entry requirements as well as ongoing program requirements, to be fulfilled by Partner, some of which are general PartnerEdge requirements, some of which are specific for the “Sell Engagement” and some of which are specific for the different “Cloud” Product Families, including, without limitation payment of the Program Fee(s), meeting certain minimum annual revenue requirements, upholding a Sell Authorization for at least one “Cloud” Product Family and other requirements as set out in detail in the PartnerEdge Program Guide and the RSPI.

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.

  • FHA Regulations Regulations promulgated by HUD under the National Housing Act, codified in 24 Code of Federal Regulations, and other HUD issuances relating to FHA Loans, including the related handbooks, circulars, notices and mortgagee letters.

  • Accessibility Standards means accessibility standards and specifications for Texas agency and institution of higher education websites and EIR set forth in 1 TAC Chapter 206 and/or Chapter 213.

  • Environmental and Safety Requirements means all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, regulations, ordinances and similar provisions having the force or effect of law, all judicial and administrative orders and determinations, all contractual obligations and all common law concerning public health and safety, worker health and safety and pollution or protection of the environment, including all such standards of conduct and bases of obligations relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transport, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, labeling, testing, processing, discharge, release, threatened release, control, or cleanup of any hazardous materials, substances or wastes, chemical substances or mixtures, pesticides, pollutants, contaminants, toxic chemicals, petroleum products or by-products, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls (or PCBs), noise or radiation.

  • Medicare Regulations means, collectively, (a) all Federal statues (whether set forth in Title XVIII of the Social Security Act or elsewhere) affecting the health insurance program for the aged and disabled established by Title XVIII of the Social Security Act and any statues succeeding thereto and (b) all applicable provisions of all rules, regulations, manuals and orders and administrative, reimbursement and other guidelines having the force of law of all Governmental Authorities (including CMS, the OIG, HHS or any person succeeding to the functions of any of the foregoing) promulgated pursuant to or in connection with any of the foregoing having the force of law, as each may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.

  • Regulatory Requirements means all applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, regulatory guidance, judicial or administrative rulings, requirements of Governmental Contracts and standards and requirements of any accrediting or certifying organization, including, but not limited to, the requirements set forth in a Product Attachment.

  • Flood Insurance Regulations means (a) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (b) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (c) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC § 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (d) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Cathodic protection tester means a person who can demonstrate an understanding of the principles and measurements of all common types of cathodic protection systems as applied to buried or submerged metal piping and tank systems. At a minimum, such persons must have education and experience in soil resistivity, stray current, structure-to-soil potential, and component electrical isolation measurements of buried metal piping and tank systems.

  • PDMA means the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987, as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder from time to time.

  • Medicaid Regulations means, collectively, (i) all federal statutes (whether set forth in Title XIX of the Social Security Act or elsewhere) affecting the medical assistance program established by Title XIX of the Social Security Act and any statutes succeeding thereto; (ii) all applicable provisions of all federal rules, regulations, manuals and orders of all Governmental Authorities promulgated pursuant to or in connection with the statutes described in clause (i) above and all federal administrative, reimbursement and other guidelines of all Governmental Authorities having the force of law promulgated pursuant to or in connection with the statutes described in clause (i) above; (iii) all state statutes and plans for medical assistance enacted in connection with the statutes and provisions described in clauses (i) and (ii) above; and (iv) all applicable provisions of all rules, regulations, manuals and orders of all Governmental Authorities promulgated pursuant to or in connection with the statutes described in clause (iii) above and all state administrative, reimbursement and other guidelines of all Governmental Authorities having the force of law promulgated pursuant to or in connection with the statutes described in clause (ii) above, in each case as may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.

  • Health and Safety means, in relation to a recipient or a third person, the prevention of death or serious personal injury;
