public officer means a person holding or acting in any public office;

Public Official means an employee of a Governmental Authority, a member of a political party, a political candidate, an officer of a public international organization, or an officer or employee of a state-owned enterprise, including a PRC state-owned enterprise.
foreign public official means any person holding a legislative, executive, administrative or judicial office of a foreign country, whether appointed or elected; and any person exercising a public function for a foreign country, including for a public agency or public enterprise;
Applicable public official means a person elected to an office or a person appointed to complete a term of an elected office, who has the authority to award or influence the award of the contract for which the prospective contractor is submitting a competitive sealed proposal or who has the authority to negotiate a sole source or small purchase contract that may be awarded without submission of a sealed competitive proposal.
Public officials means business managers; human resource directors; athletic directors whose duties include at least 50 percent of their time spent in administration, personnel, supervision, and evaluation; chief financial officers; directors; and individuals defined as superintendents and principals.

Chief Academic Officer means the Administrative Officer at the College who has overall management responsibility for academic programs and services, or his/her designee.
SEF Official means any Director or Officer of, or individual employed directly by, BSEF, the Regulatory Services Provider or any individual rendering similar services to BSEF under an administrative or similar agreement.
Domestic Office means, relative to any Lender, the office of such Lender designated as such below its signature hereto or designated in the Lender Assignment Agreement or such other office of a Lender (or any successor or assign of such Lender) within the United States as may be designated from time to time by notice from such Lender, as the case may be, to each other Person party hereto.
Criminal justice agency means (i) a court or any other governmental agency or subunit thereof
Chief election official means the state official or body that is authorized to certify the total number of popular votes for each presidential slate;
Health facility or agency means that term as defined in section 20106 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20106.
Election official means any election officer, election judge, or poll worker.
Legislative or administrative interest means an economic interest, distinct from that of the general public, in:
Governmental Official means any governmental official or employee, employee of any government-owned or government-controlled entity, political party, any official of a political party, candidate for political office, official of any public international organization or anyone else acting in an official capacity.
Health Officer means the Municipal Health Officer or District Health Officer or such other official as may be appointed by the State Government in that behalf.
Agency and/or State Agency means the statutory unit of state government in the State of Missouri for which the equipment, supplies, and/or services are being purchased by the Division of Purchasing (Purchasing). The agency is also responsible for payment.
Administration of criminal justice means performance of any activity directly involving the
Health care provider or "provider" means:
State educational agency means any state or local educational licensing body that provides a license, permit, authorization or other approval necessary for an educational institution or other entity to operate or to provide educational programs or courses in that state.
Designated agency means a contractual relationship
Indian Health Care Provider means a health care program operated by the Indian Health Service (IHS) or by an Indian Tribe, Tribal Organization, or Urban Indian Organization (otherwise known as an I/T/U) as those terms are defined in § 4 of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (25 USC § 1603). Indian Health Care Provider includes a 638 Facility and provision of Indian Health Service Contract Health Services (IHS CHS).
Regulatory Agency means any federal or state agency charged with the supervision or regulation of depository institutions or holding companies of depository institutions, or engaged in the insurance of depository institution deposits, or any court, administrative agency or commission or other authority, body or agency having supervisory or regulatory authority with respect to the Company, the Bank or any of their Subsidiaries.
Lead Agency means the agency facilitating the procurement and establishing the Contract.
