Public Works Yard definition

Public Works Yard means any building, structure or land, or portion thereof, accommodating any use provided by an agency of government or any public utility works yard for the maintenance, repair and storage of vehicles, equipment and/or construction materials, and shall include any accessory offices.
Public Works Yard means the District’s public works location at 5445 Allen Road, Sechelt, BC. “Quotation” means a response/submission provided by a Supplier in response to this RFQ.

More Definitions of Public Works Yard

Public Works Yard means a facility where motor vehicles and equipment required for the maintenance and operation of uses undertaken by a public authority are stored, and materials used for or resulting from the mainte- nance and operation of such uses are stored or processed.
Public Works Yard means a site primarily used for the maintenance, repair, and storage of equipment, vehicles and other goods used by a public utility or government agency in the delivery of its services and may include accessory administrative offices.

  • Public works and “Building Services” - Definitions

  • Public works project means the erection, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any public structure, building, road, or other public improvement of any kind.

  • Public work means public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26) and which is subject to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). Public work shall not include the provision of goods or products.

  • Garage, public means a building or portion thereof, designed other than as a private garage, operated for gain, designed and/or used for repairing, servicing, hiring, selling or storing or parking motor-driven or other vehicles.

Public Way shall also mean any easement now or hereafter held by the Franchise Authority within the Franchise Area for the purpose of public travel, or for utility or public service use dedicated for compatible uses, and shall include other easements or rights-of-way as shall within their proper use and meaning entitle the Franchisee to the use thereof for the purposes of installing, operating, and maintaining the Franchisee’s Cable System over poles, wires, cables, conductors, ducts, conduits, vaults, manholes, amplifiers, appliances, attachments, and other property as may be ordinarily necessary and appurtenant to the Cable System.

  • Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.

  • Waterworks System or “system” means a system of pipes and structures through which water is obtained and distributed, including but not limited to wells and well structures, intakes and cribs, pumping stations, treatment plants, storage tanks, pipelines and appurtenances, or a combination thereof, actually used or intended for use for the purpose of furnishing water for drinking or household purposes.
