Qualified Claim definition

Qualified Claim means a claim by a Class Member who submits a signed Claim Form during the Claim Period, and whose claim is determined to be eligible for an Award as a result of the Claims Submittal and Review Process set forth in Section III.B.
Qualified Claim means a Settled Asbestos PI Trust Claim or a Settled Silica PI Trust Claim that (a) is covered by an Asbestos/Silica PI Trust Claimant Settlement Agreement listed on Exhibit 3 to the Plan, as amended as of November 14, 2003, and (b) has been determined by the Debtors to satisfy the medical criteria for payment under the applicable settlement agreement, regardless of when, how, and by whom such claim is paid.
Qualified Claim means the net amount of property taxes overpaid

More Definitions of Qualified Claim

Qualified Claim. : shall mean any claim, loss, monetary demand, or suit occurring within the term of this Agreement and the number of Takeover Claims identified in Section 3(a) below.
Qualified Claim means a claim for Dental Services received by the Participant that are covered under the Preventive, Basic or Major Coverage level and subject to the Benefit Maximum. Claims for Orthodontic Dental Services are not considered Qualified Claims.
Qualified Claim means any Claim meeting the Underwriting Guidelines.
Qualified Claim means a claim for exemption that was filed for a qualified property with the assessor on and after January 1, 2013, and before January 1, 2017, for which the assessor granted a partial exemption.
Qualified Claim means an unknown Environmental Liability which Accrued prior to the Effective Date, and which is the subject of a specific written claim asserting Unocal's or Buyer's responsibility made and asserted during the six (6) month period between the Closing Date and six (6) months following the Closing Date either by a governmental entity or by a third party that is not an Affiliate or a successor in interest of Buyer, with a Claim Notice provided by Buyer to Unocal at once but in no case later than thirty (30) days after Buyer's receipt of such claim; and Unocal shall provide Buyer with any Claim Notice received by Unocal not later than thirty (30) days after Unocal's receipt thereof, (but failure of Unocal to provide Buyer with such notice within this time period shall not relieve or release Buyer from any liability or obligation therefor, except and only to the extent such delay in Unocal's notice to Buyer directly results in an increase of Buyer's liability therefor), provided, however, Environmental Law for purposes of determining Environmental Liabilities that can be Qualified Claims shall not include Environmental Laws as they may be amended, varied or modified in the future, but shall be limited to Environmental Laws in effect and applicable to the Assets as of the Effective Date.
