Railway facilities definition

Railway facilities means land, structures, fixtures, buildings and equipment, except rolling stock, necessary or useful in providing railroad transportation services, including, but not limited to, roadbeds, track, trestle, depot, switching and signaling equipment and all necessary, useful and related equipment and appurtenances and all franchises, easements and other interests in land and rights of way necessary or convenient as a site or sites for any of the foregoing or any part of or combination of the foregoing.

Examples of Railway facilities in a sentence

  • That the advances shall be repayable in full when or before the Contract receives payment from the Employer of the price payable to him for the said works under the terms and provisions of the 62 said agreement.

  • No Railway facilities such as passes, concessional ticket consideration or employment in Railways will be available to the Contractor or their employees.

  • Railway facilities include sidings, platforms, container hardstand areas, lighting towers, security infrastructure and fire and hazardous substance management facilities and quarantine facilities.

  • The Contractor shall not have unlimited use of the GWWD Railway facilities.

  • Retro-fitment will be carried out either at Vendor’s premise or at Railway facilities.

  • For labour working between stations or at isolated places where Railway facilities do not exist, the contractor shall be required to provide necessary sanitary facilities for his labour in terms of clause 59 (A) of the General conditions of the contract.

  • City Facilities means City or publicly-owned structures or equipment located within the right of way or public easement used for governmental purposes.

  • New Facilities means facilities for which, by the cut-off date, neither of the following events has occurred:

  • Generating Facilities means Interconnection Customer’s device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. Generation Interconnection Customer:

  • Wastewater facilities means the structures, equipment, and processes required to collect, carry away, and treat domestic and industrial wastes and dispose of the effluent.

  • Existing Facilities means all existing buildings and other facilities, the sites for the buildings or facilities, and furnishings or equipment for the buildings or facilities located on real property acquired by the building authority under the terms of this act.

  • Facilities means the Plant and Equipment to be supplied and installed, as well as all the Installation Services to be carried out by the Contractor under the Contract.

  • Electric Facility means a Generator or an electric transmission facility.

  • Common Facilities means the facilities under D.G.sets/D.G.rooms, water storage tanks its pumping and supply system, sewerage & drainage systems, electric sub-station/ transformers/electric panels/distribution network, maintenance service rooms, lawns including lighting & services etc., roads, pathways & driveways including street lighting & services etc., guard posts, fire hydrants & fire fighting system etc. and all such facilities and areas for common use and excluded from the computation of Super Area of the Said Premises;

  • Renewable energy facility means an electric generation unit or other facility or installation that produces electric energy using a Renewable Energy Source.

  • Community facilities means a specific work, or improvement within this state or a specific item of equipment or tangible personal property owned or operated by any political subdivision or nonprofit corporation and used within this state to provide any essential service to the general public;

  • Interconnection Facilities means the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and the Customer Interconnection Facilities.

  • Bank Facilities means any overdraft limits or credit facility available to you and their associated terms;

  • Other Facilities means athletic stadiums, swimming pools, any associated structures or related equipment tied to such facilities including, but not limited to, grandstands and night field lights, greenhouses, garages, facilities used for non-instructional or non-educational purposes, and any structure, building or facility used solely for school administration.

  • Pollution control facilities means water and air pollution control equipment and solid waste disposal facilities or any of them.

  • Shared Facilities means the gentie lines, transformers, substations, or other equipment, permits, contract rights and obligations, and other assets and property (real or personal), in each case, as necessary to enable delivery of energy from Seller’s electric generating facility (which is excluded from this definition of Shared Facilities) to the Point of Interconnection that are used in common with other entities, as applicable.

  • Production Facilities (7 9) means "production equipment" and specially designed software therefor integrated into installations for "development" or for one or more phases of "production".

  • Project Facilities means all the amenities and facilities situated on the Site, as described in Schedule-C;

  • Utility facility means any pipe, pipeline, duct, wire line, conduit, pole, tower, equipment or other structure used for one of the following:

  • Exit Facilities means, collectively, the Exit ABL Facility and the Exit Term Loan Facility.
