Reasonable Job Offer definition

Reasonable Job Offer means an offer of indeterminate employment within the Public Service, normally at a pay level equal to or greater than the employee's current level. Where practicable, a reasonable job offer shall be within the employee's headquarters.
Reasonable Job Offer means a good faith offer of employment made or directly facilitated by Sovereign, the Bank, an affiliate of either, an entity proposing to acquire the business of Sovereign or the Bank, or an affiliate of such entity, which offer (i) would not give the Officer the right to terminate employment for Good Reason under Section 5A(a), and (ii) does not require an employment background and skill set materially different than required for his then position.
Reasonable Job Offer means the offer of employment to a Participant by any business entity, which offer was directly or indirectly arranged, induced, facilitated or otherwise caused to be made by reason of the efforts of a Participating Company (including, without limitation, offers made in connection with outsourcing programs), provided (i) such offer provides for an initial base salary or wage not less than 100% of the Participant's then Base Salary (and, in the case of a demotion, reassignment or transfer within the affiliated group of corporations of which the Participant is employed following a Change in Control, the opportunity to earn an Annual Bonus consistent with prior Annual Bonuses), (ii) the primary business location of the offered position is not more than 50 miles from his or her then primary residence and does not initially cause an increase in such individual's one-way commuting distance of more than 20 miles, and (iii) the entity offering the position represents to the Participant that its then present intent is for the employment to constitute a full-time permanent position.

  • An employee who selects this option will not have received an educational allowance or the guarantee of a guaranteed Reasonable Job Offer.

  • An Affected Employee who elects continued employment with the Yukon Government, or an employee for whom there is no available position with ▇▇▇▇ Kwä’ą will remain on surplus status and will be provided with a guaranteed Reasonable Job Offer to a YG position that is the same or substantially the same (classification, job duties, FTE, schedule) as the position they occupied prior to the Actual Date notice.

  • Reasonable Job Offer - is an offer of indeterminate employment within the Yukon Government, normally at an equivalent level (which includes equivalent classification, pay, job duties, FTE and schedule), but which could include lower levels (salary protected) where no indeterminate employment at an equivalent level is available.

  • Employees who do not receive a guaranteed Reasonable Job Offer or who decline more than one guaranteed Reasonable Job Offer will remain on surplus status and will be given preference for appointment to any vacant or newly created position for a period of twelve (12) months from the Actual Date.
