Reception Antenna definition

Reception Antenna means any device used for receipt of audio or video programming services, including direct broadcast satellite services and radio and television broadcast services. A reception antenna which has transmission capability which is designed for the viewer to select or use video programming is a reception antenna within the meaning of this definition, provided that it meets the standards of the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") for radio frequency emissions. The support structure, cabling, guy wires, conduits, wiring and other accessories necessary for proper installation maintenance and use of a reception antenna shall be considered part of the antenna.

Examples of video programming services include direct broadcast satellite services, multipoint distribution services, and television broadcast signals. Examples include wireless signals used to provide telephone service or high speed internet access to a fixed location. “Reception Antenna” does NOT include, among other things, Amateur (“HAM”) radios, Citizens Band (“CB”) radios and Digital Audio Radio Services (“DARS”), AM/FM radio signals.
