Records retention period means the period of time during which records must be maintained by an organization because they are needed for operational, legal, fiscal, historical or other purposes.

Records retention period means the period for which each of the Records must be maintained, i.e. until the date which is the latest of: (a) the date which is the earliest date specified by applicable laws/regulations/accounting standards in respect of each Record; (b) the date of expiry/termination of the Agreement (or the applicable related agreement issued thereunder) plus ten years; (c) the date that the Parties agree that all matters arising from or in connection with the Agreement or that Record have been finally concluded; or (d) the date when that Record is no longer required to be stored under Novartis’ records retention policy as notified to External Service Provider from time to time.
