Indian governing body means the governing body of any tribe, band, or group of Indians subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and recognized by the United States as possessing power of self-government.
Local governing body means a local board of trustees of a rural electric cooperative.
School Governors or Governing Body means the Governors of the School who are appointed from time to time under the terms of its governing instrument and who are responsible for governance of the School.
Governing body means the board of county commissioners or a county council if a county; the legislative authority if a municipal corporation; or the board of township trustees if a township; the board of directors if a sanitary district; or the board of trustees if a regional water and sewer district.
Local Governing Bodies means the committees appointed pursuant to Articles 100-101A and 104 (and “Local Governing Body” means any one of these committees);
lead governor means the governor nominated by the corporation to fulfil the role described in Appendix B to The NHS Foundation Trust Code of Governance (Monitor, December 2013) or any later version of such code.
Deputy Governor means a person nominated by the governor in accordance with Article 180 of the Constitution;
Relevant Governmental Body means the Federal Reserve Board and/or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or a committee officially endorsed or convened by the Federal Reserve Board and/or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York or any successor thereto.
Public Governor means a member of the Council of Governors elected by the members of one of the Public Constituencies;
Certified local government means a historic preservation program established by county or municipal ordinance that is certified by the Secretary of the Interior pursuant to 36 CFR Part 61, the implementing regulations for the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended.
Tribal government means an Indian tribal government as defined in Section 3(32) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended, or an agency or instrumentality of the trib- al government, that has government offices principally located in this state.
the Parent Governors means the Governors appointed pursuant to Articles 53 to 58 inclusive;
the LA Governor means the Governor who may be appointed pursuant to Article 51;
Local government entity means a county, incorporated city, independent school district, public junior college district, emergency services district, other special district, joint board, or other entity defined as a political subdivision under Texas law that maintains the capability to provide mutual aid.
the Governors means the directors of the Academy Trust (and "Governor" means any one of those directors), subject to the definition of this term at Article 6.9(b) in relation to Articles 6.2-6.9;
Governing board means the Fund's Board of Directors if the Fund is a corporation or the Fund's Board of Trustees if the Fund is a trust, or, where duly authorized, a competent committee thereof.
Relevant Nominating Body means, in respect of a benchmark or screen rate (as applicable):
Local government means a unit of government in a State and, if chartered, established, or otherwise recognized by a State for the performance of a governmental duty, including a local public authority, a special district, an intrastate district, a council of governments, a sponsor group representative organization, and any other instrumentality of a local
New Corporate Governance Documents means the certificate of incorporation, certificate of formation, bylaws, limited liability company agreements, shareholder agreement (if any), operating agreement or other similar organizational or formation documents, as applicable, of the Reorganized Debtors, each of which shall be acceptable to the Debtors, the Requisite Consenting Creditors, and the Equity Committee (subject to the parties’ rights and obligations under the RSA).
State Controlling Body (SCB) means a state or territory motorcycling association affiliated as a member of MA;
Company Governing Documents means the Company Bylaws and the Company Certificate.
Office of the Governor means the Governor; his chief of staff, counsel, director of policy, Cabinet
Reference Government Bond Dealer means each of five banks selected by the Issuer, or their affiliates, which are (A) primary government securities dealers, and their respective successors, or (B) market makers in pricing corporate bond issues;
Corporate governance annual disclosure means a report an insurer or insurance group files in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 16b, Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure Act.
Participating local government means a local government
Comparable Government Bond means, in relation to any Comparable Government Bond Rate calculation, at the discretion of an independent investment bank selected by us, a German government bond whose maturity is closest to the maturity of the notes to be redeemed, or if such independent investment bank in its discretion determines that such similar bond is not in issue, such other German government bond as such independent investment bank may, with the advice of three brokers of, and/or market makers in, German government bonds selected by us, determine to be appropriate for determining the Comparable Government Bond Rate.
