Renewable sources of energy definition

Renewable sources of energy means non-conventional, renewable electricity generating sources such as mini-hydel, micro-hydel, wind, solar, biomass (including bagasse based co-generation), urban/ municipal waste, or such other sources as approved by the MNRE, Government of India, or Government of Karnataka;
Renewable sources of energy means energy from direct solar radiation, wind, water, geothermal sources, wood and other forms of biomass; (8) "cost effective" means that savings exceed cost over a ten-year period; (9) "state agency" means any department, board, commission, institution, or other agency of this state; and (10) "covered products" means the consumer products set forth as covered products in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, 42 USC 6292.
Renewable sources of energy means energy sources which are renewable on regular basis and whose renewal rate is relatively rapid to consider availability over an indefinite period of time, and includes among others, biomass, wind , geothermal, ocean energy, small hydropower, solar, waste to energy and other emerging renewable energy sources so specified by the Central Government;
