Research Sponsor definition

Research Sponsor means the agency, institution, or organization, if any, that sponsored the research that is the subject of an inquiry or investigation. The research sponsor can be governmental, private, or non-profit in nature. It also includes the Office of Research Integrity of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services for research that is sponsored by any part of DHHS.
Research Sponsor means the organisation that takes the lead in confirming there are proper arrangements in place for the initiation and management of the research. The sponsor role is described in the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care (▇▇▇.▇▇) and EU clinical trial directive.
Research Sponsor has the meaning set forth in Section 4.8(e).

Examples of Research Sponsor in a sentence

  • In performance of the Research, Sponsor and University shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations, rules and orders.

  • If Sponsor learns of an export control classification by the U.S. or any other government during the course of the Research, Sponsor shall inform MSK of such promptly.

  • If for purposes of the Sponsored Research, Sponsor intends to disclose export-controlled information to MSK, Sponsor will not disclose such information to MSK unless and until a plan for transfer, use, dissemination and control of the information has been approved by MSK.

  • INC Research, Sponsor and the Principal Investigator acknowledge that various laws, statutes, regulations, directives, and/or industry requirements (collectively, “Reporting Laws”) require certain companies in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry to disclose and report information regarding payments made and agreements entered into with healthcare professionals or other individuals and entities carrying out activities in certain countries.

  • When the Contractor elects to use potable water storage equipment such as bladder bags or any other potable water storage facilities without access ports that would provide for an interior visual inspection, the Contractor may be required to perform additional microbiological testing at the Contractor’s the expense.

  • After reasonable inquiry by Sponsor, Principal Investigator or other University employees and/or students choose not to disseminate or publish results of the Research, Sponsor shall have the right to publish results of the Research.

  • If Sponsor learns of an export classification by the US or another government during the course of the Research, Sponsor shall inform RIT of such promptly.

  • If, for purposes of the Sponsored Research, Sponsor intends to disclose export-controlled information to Mount Sinai, Sponsor will not disclose such information to Mount Sinai unless and until a plan for transfer, use, dissemination, and control of the information has been approved in writing by Mount Sinai.

  • If requested by INC Research, Sponsor shall deliver to INC Research official documentation for such taxes paid.

  • If ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ learns of an export classification by the US or another government during the course of the Research, Sponsor shall inform RIT Principal Investigator of such promptly.
