Residential manufactured home definition

Residential manufactured home means a manufactured home as defined in section 603(6) of the national manufactured housing construction and safety standards act of 1974, 42 U.S.C. 5402(6), which is used as a residence.

Residential manufactured home means a structure, transportable in one or more sections, which is at least eight body feet wide, thirty‑two body feet long, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling, with or without a permanent foundation, when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air‑conditioning and electrical systems contained therein, and which structure is or will be used as a residence.

  • New manufactured home park or subdivision means a manufactured home park or subdivision for which the construction of facilities for servicing the lots on which the manufactured homes are to be affixed (including at a minimum, the installation of utilities, the construction of streets, and either final site grading or the pouring of concrete pads) is completed on or after the effective date of this ordinance or the effective date of the initial floodplain management ordinance and includes any subsequent improvements to such structure.
