Grantee shall maintain all upstream and downstream Access services and Channels on its side of the demarcation point at the same level of technical quality and reliability required by this Franchise Agreement and all other applicable laws, rules and regulations for Residential Subscriber Channels.
In the areas in which Franchisee provides Cable Service, Franchisee shall be required to connect, at Franchisee’s expense, other than a Standard Installation charge, all Residential Subscriber dwelling units that are within three hundred and fifty (350) feet drop distance of trunk or feeder lines not otherwise already served by Franchisee’s Cable System.
Franchisee shall be allowed to recover, from a Subscriber that requests such connection, actual additional costs incurred for Residential Subscriber dwelling unit connections that exceed three hundred and fifty (350) feet drop distance and actual costs incurred to connect any Non-Residential Subscriber unit.
During the term of this Franchise Agreement, Grantee shall provide up to seventy-five cents ($0.75) per month per Residential Subscriber (the "PEG Contribution") to be used solely for capital costs related to Public, Educational and Governmental Access and the web based on demand Access programming described in Section 9.5, or as may be permitted by Applicable Law.
