Reverse Seniority definition

Reverse Seniority as noted elsewhere, shall mean the member with the least length of continuous service and then progressing up to the member with the most continuous length of service.

  • General areas within the contract which may be altered due to workforce shortages are, as follows: Bidding, Seniority, Extra Work Assignments, Regular Runs, Extra Runs and Trips The following contractual modifications shall be enacted while workforce shortages exist below the minimum ideal staffing requirements:  Equalized, Reverse Seniority shall be implemented for all Extra Trips in which no employee bids on an Extra Trip.
