Salary Continuance Plan definition

Salary Continuance Plan means The Black & Decker Executive Salary Continuance Plan, effective May 1, 1995, as amended from time to time, or any salary continuance plan that is a successor to, or replacement for, that plan.
Salary Continuance Plan means the group long-term disability income plan provided by the University to its Employees.
Salary Continuance Plan means the Blackmores Limited Group Salary Continuance Plan.

Examples of Salary Continuance Plan in a sentence

  • It shall be the general policy of the District to continue pay to an employee under the Salary Continuance Plan when an employee incurs a work-related injury or illness.

  • Participation is compulsory in the Salary Continuance Plan for employees hired after 01 January 1973.

  • Eligible members are entitled to disability benefits as defined under the Salary Continuance Plan, Article 12.5. Members hired on a term or part-time basis, who are not included under the provisions of the Salary Continuance Plan are entitled to an allowance of one and one-quarter (1.25) days sick leave per month of employment.

  • District Salary Continuance Plan benefits shall begin on the same day as State Compensation benefits commence.

  • However, if the injury or illness causes disability of more than fourteen (14) days or necessitates hospitalization, the Salary Continuance Plan will become effective from the first day the injured employee leaves work as a result of the injury or illness.

  • Employees hired on a term or part-time basis, who are not included under the provisions of the Salary Continuance Plan are entitled to an allowance of one and one-quarter (1.25) days sick leave per month of employment.

  • All members who have an employee status of permanent or seasonal or a term appointment of greater than or equal to 0.5 FTE and greater than or equal to one (1) year will be eligible for the Salary Continuance Plan.

  • In the event that this Agreement is terminated by reason of Executive's Disability, Executive will continue to receive his Base Salary for up to one year from the date of the termination and shall also participate in any other disability compensation programs, including any Salary Continuance Plan in effect at that time for officers or executives of Employer.

  • Any change or amendments in the Long-Term Salary Continuance Plan would be subject to Union approval.

  • To maintain the intent of this letter through subsequent premium increases it is also agreed that the total premiums paid on an annual basis for the BCTF Salary Continuance Plan B, the medical insurance and the dental plan will be maintained at the seventy-five percent (75%) employer and twenty-five percent (25%) employee basis.

Related to Salary Continuance Plan

  • Benefits Continuation Period has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(b).

  • Benefit Continuation Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the last day of the month in which occurs the earlier of (i) the 24-month anniversary of the Date of Termination and (ii) the date on which you elect coverage for you and your covered dependents under substantially comparable benefit plans of a subsequent employer.

  • Discretionary Contribution means the contribution made by the Employer on behalf of a Participant as described in Section 4.4(b).

  • Termination Compensation means a monthly cash amount equal to one-twelfth ( 1/12th) of the highest amount of the annual cash compensation (including cash bonuses and other cash-based compensation, including for these purposes amounts earned or payable whether or not deferred) received by Executive during any one of the three (3) calendar years immediately preceding the calendar year in which Executive’s Termination Date occurs; provided, that if the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year exceeds the highest amount of the annual cash compensation received by Executive during any one of the immediately preceding three (3) consecutive calendar years, the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year shall be deemed to be Executive’s highest amount of annual cash compensation. In no event shall Executive’s Termination Compensation include equity-based compensation (e.g., income realized as a result of Executive’s exercise of non-qualified stock options or other stock based benefits).

  • Salary reduction plan means a benefit plan whereby state and

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • CIC Severance Plan means the Company’s Change in Control Severance Plan, as may be amended from time to time, or any successor plan, program or arrangement thereto.

  • Clawback Eligible Incentive Compensation means all Incentive-based Compensation Received by an Executive Officer (i) on or after the effective date of the applicable Nasdaq rules, (ii) after beginning service as an Executive Officer, (iii) who served as an Executive Officer at any time during the applicable performance period relating to any Incentive-based Compensation (whether or not such Executive Officer is serving at the time the Erroneously Awarded Compensation is required to be repaid to the Company), (iv) while the Company has a class of securities listed on a national securities exchange or a national securities association, and (v) during the applicable Clawback Period (as defined below).

  • COBRA Continuation Period means the continuation period for medical and dental insurance to be provided under the terms of this Agreement which shall commence on the first day of the calendar month following the month in which the date of termination falls and generally shall continue for an 18 month period.

  • 401(k) Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.3(a).

  • Continuation Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.

  • Compensation Accrued at Termination means the following:

  • Parent 401(k) Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.6(e).

  • Fringe benefit means health insurance, a retirement benefit received under a pension plan or defined contribution plan, a paid vacation day, a paid holiday, sick leave, or any other similar employee benefit provided by an employer.

  • Covered Termination means the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Cause or by Executive for Good Reason, and shall not include a termination due to Executive’s death or disability.

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one (1) day prior to the Change of Control; and (ii) the average of the Incentive Bonus paid (or payable) for the three (3) most recently completed fiscal years of the Company.

  • lump sum payment period means the period measured in weeks of salary, for which payment has been made to facilitate the transition to retirement or to other employment as a result of the implementation of various programs to reduce the size of the Public Service. The lump sum payment period does not include the period of severance pay, which is measured in a like manner.

  • Plan Termination Date means the date that is ten (10) years after the Effective Date, unless the Plan is earlier terminated by the Board pursuant to Section 15 hereof.

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Compensation Period has the meaning specified in Section 2.12(c)(ii).

  • Company Pension Plan means each: (a) Company Employee Plan that is an “employee pension benefit plan,” within the meaning of Section 3(2) of ERISA; or (b) other occupational pension plan, including any final salary or money purchase plan.

  • Profit Sharing Account means any one of the accounts so designated and provided for in Section 6.01.

  • Company 401(k) Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.09(e).

  • Basic Compensation means Salary and Benefits.

  • Benefit Commencement Date means, for any Participant or beneficiary, the date as of which the first benefit payment, including a single sum, from the Participant’s Account is due, other than pursuant to a withdrawal under Article VIII.
