Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Parent shall, or shall cause its Affiliates (including, after the Closing, the Company and its Subsidiaries) to, provide severance pay to each Continuing Employee that is terminated during the Continuation Period that is no less than the severance pay that would be provided to similarly situated employees of Parent and its Affiliates.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing herein shall prevent Parent or any of its Subsidiaries (including, after the Closing, the Company or any of its Subsidiaries) from terminating the employment of any Continuing Employee during (or after) the Continuation Period in compliance with applicable Law.
