School Board Review definition

School Board Review. The School Board reserves the right to review any decision issued under Level I or Level II above, provided the School Board or its representative(s) notifies the parties of the intention to review within 12 days after the decision has been rendered. In the event the School Board reviews a grievance under this section, the School Board reserves the right to reverse or modify such decision.

Examples of School Board Review in a sentence

  • Step 3 – School Board Review - Level 8: If expulsion has been recommended and the parent does not agree with the decision at Step 2, the parent may continue the appeal as follows:1.

  • The Head's decision to expel shall be subject to a School Board Review if requested by the Parents.

  • The Head's decision to require the Removal of the Pupil shall be subject to a School Board Review if requested by the Parents.

  • This provision shall be grievable through the grievance procedure including the level of School Board Review only.

  • The Head will advise the Parents of the procedure (current at that time) under which a School Board Review shall be conducted by a panel of three members (including an independent member if requested).

  • School board means the governing board of directors of the local school district.

  • Board of Review or “board” means the state building code board of review created by this chapter.

  • LOCAL BOARD OF TAX REVIEW and "BOARD OF TAX REVIEW" means the entity created under Section 182.18 of this Chapter.

  • Ethics Committee means an independent body established in a Member State in accordance with the law of that Member State and empowered to give opinions for the purposes of this Regulation, taking into account the views of laypersons, in particular patients or patients' organisations;
