School Support employee means an employee who does not engage in teaching and includes a Clerical Secretarial and Administrative employee, a Teacher Assistant, a Teaching Support employee and a Utility Employee.
School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.
School-sponsored media means all student media that are:
Contract employee means a probationary faculty employee or a grant- funded employee hired on a year-to-year basis in accordance with Education Code 87470.
Public safety employee means a public employee who is employed as one of the following:
Replacement employee means an employee specifically engaged to replace an employee proceeding on parental leave.
School employer means a board of school directors, the
Academic employee Academic employee shall mean an employee in the Professional Services Negotiating Unit with academic or qualified academic rank.
Relevant Employees means the employees who may be affected by a change referred to in subclause (1).
Classroom teacher means a teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under the provisions of Education Law Section 3012-c.
income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;
Medical support means providing health care coverage for a joint child by carrying health care coverage for the joint child or by contributing to the cost of health care coverage, public coverage, unreimbursed medical expenses, and uninsured medical expenses of the joint child.
