Securities Related Activities definition

Securities Related Activities means acting as a securities dealer and carrying on any business which is incidental to or a necessary part of such activities provided that the Board may, from time to time, include in, or exclude from this definition any activities and change those included or excluded;
Securities Related Activities with respect to any Person, such Person’s activities as a broker, a dealer, an underwriter, an investment adviser registered under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, or as an investment adviser to a registered investment company.
Securities Related Activities means acting as a dealer (principal) or broker (agent) in carrying out transactions in securities on behalf of clients including, without limitation, acting as an underwriter or adviser, and also includes acting in any of such capacities in transactions in commodity futures contracts or commodity futures options as defined by the applicable legislation.
