Sexual assault forensic examination definition

Sexual assault forensic examination means an examina- tion performed by a health care professional to gather evidence regarding a sex offense.
Sexual assault forensic examination means an assessment conducted by a physician or a registered professional nurse, consisting of a history and physical examination, medical or nursing diagnosis and intervention, including the collection of evidence.
Sexual assault forensic examination means procedures performed by a physician or a Qualified Registered Nurse to collect from the body of the victim, evidence of the sexual assault. This may include vaginal swabbing, vaginal wash, taking of blood samples, pubic combing, and any other procedures requested by the investigating law enforcement agency to obtain evidence of the crime of sexual assault.
