Such workers include: • Staff at nursing homes, hospitals, and home care settings; • Workers at farms, food production facilities, grocery stores, and restaurants; • Janitors and sanitation workers; • Truck drivers, transit staff, and warehouse workers; • Public health and safety staff; • Childcare workers, educators, and other school staff; and • Social service and human services staff.
For a county where the coordinator administers more than one program area (e.g. Chemical Dependency, Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities), training and experience in administration and/or a related Human or Social service may be considered.
Social service" means any social services program funded in whole or in part through an agreement issued by the department.
Social service tax ("PST") and Goods and services tax ("GST") are not included in the Fees.
