Spanish Treaty State definition

Spanish Treaty State a jurisdiction having a double taxation agreement (including, but not limited to, any protocol, exchange of letters, memorandum of understanding, mutual agreement or any other agreement executed between the Governmental Authority of such jurisdiction and Spain in connection with or under the provisions of such double taxation agreement) with Spain (a “Spanish Treaty”) which makes provision for full exemption from tax imposed by Spain on interest.
Spanish Treaty State means a jurisdiction having a double taxation agreement with Spain (a “Spanish Treaty”) which makes provision for full exemption from tax imposed by Spain on interest.

  • UK Treaty State means a jurisdiction having a double taxation agreement (a “UK Treaty”) with the United Kingdom which makes provision for full exemption from tax imposed by the United Kingdom on interest.

  • Treaty State means a jurisdiction having a double taxation agreement (a “Treaty”) with the United Kingdom which makes provision for full exemption from tax imposed by the United Kingdom on interest.

  • EC Treaty means the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (signed in Rome on 25 March 1957), as amended by the Treaty on European Union (signed in Maastricht on 7 February 1992) and as amended by the Treaty of Amsterdam (signed in Amsterdam on 2 October 1997), as further amended from time to time;

  • UK Treaty Lender means a Lender which:

  • Treaty on European Union means the Treaty of Rome of March 25, 1957, as amended by the Single Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and the Maastricht Treaty (which was signed at Maastricht on February 1, 1992 and came into force on November 1, 1993), as amended from time to time.

  • EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.

  • Treaty Lender means a Lender which:

  • HMRC DT Treaty Passport scheme means the Board of H.M. Revenue and Customs Double Taxation Treaty Passport scheme.

  • UK Bail-in Legislation means Part I of the United Kingdom Banking Act 2009 and any other law or regulation applicable in the United Kingdom relating to the resolution of unsound or failing banks, investment firms or other financial institutions or their affiliates (otherwise than through liquidation, administration or other insolvency proceedings).

  • Tax Legislation means any statute, statutory instrument, enactment, law, by-law, directive, decree, ordinance, regulation or legislative provision or generally applicable ruling (such as a revenue ruling issued by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service) enacted, issued or adopted providing for, imposing or relating to Tax; and

  • said State means the State of Western Australia;

  • Borrower DTTP Filing means an HM Revenue & Customs’ Form DTTP2, duly completed and filed by the relevant Borrower within the applicable time limit, which contains the scheme reference number and jurisdiction of tax residence provided by the Lender to the Borrower and the Administrative Agent.

  • Patent Cooperation Treaty means the Patent Cooperation Treaty done at Washington on June 19, 1970;

  • Cape Town Treaty means, collectively, the official English language text of (a) the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment, and (b) the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment, in each case adopted on November 16, 2001, at a diplomatic conference in Cape Town, South Africa, and from and after the effective date of the Cape Town Treaty in the relevant country, means when referring to the Cape Town Treaty with respect to that country, the Cape Town Treaty as in effect in such country, unless otherwise indicated, and (c) all rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto and, in the case of each of the foregoing described in clauses (a) through (c), all amendments, supplements, and revisions thereto.

  • VAT Act means the Value Added Tax Act, No 89 of 1991, as may be amended from time to time.

  • Swiss Guidelines means the following guidelines issued by the Swiss Federal Tax Administration:

  • foreign State means a jurisdiction other than the United States, a state, or a federally recognized Indian tribe.

  • European Union means the member nations of the European Union established by the Treaty of European Union, signed at Maastricht on February 2, 1992, which amended the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Community.

  • GST Legislation means A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Xxx 0000 (Cth) and any related tax imposition act (whether imposing tax as a duty of customs excise or otherwise) and includes any legislation which is enacted to validate recapture or recoup the tax imposed by any of such acts.

  • United States Tax Compliance Certificate has the meaning specified in Section 3.01.

  • Project Implementing Entity’s Legislation means the Charter of the Municipal Development Fund established pursuant to Decree No. 118 of the Government of Georgia dated July 23, 2005, as amended to date.

  • Federal financial assistance means any grant, loan, contract (other than a procurement contract or a contract of insurance or guaranty), or any other arrangement by which the Department provides or otherwise makes available assistance in the form of:

  • tax treaty means an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation entered into between South Africa and another country;

  • Companies Act means the Companies Act, 71 of 2008;

  • method statement means a written submission by the Contractor to the Project Manager in response to this EMPr or a request by the Project Manager and ECO. The method statement must set out the equipment, materials, labour and method(s) the Contractor proposes using to carry out an activity identified by the Project Manager when requesting the Method Statement. This must be done in such detail that the Project Manager and ECO is able to assess whether the Contractor's proposal is in accordance with this specification and/or will produce results in accordance with this specification;

  • Party state means any state that has adopted this compact.
