Special Education Committee definition

Special Education Committee meets to discuss/act on concerns related to the Special Education areas.
Special Education Committee. The District and Teamsters 856 agree to establish a joint task force composed of three (3) representatives from the District and three (3) from Teamsters 856. The District representatives shall include a representative of the Special Education Department or Regional Superintendents, one (1) representative from Classified Personnel, and one (1) other designated by the District. The Union committee members shall consist of one (1) Teamsters 856 staff member, the President of the Paraprofessional Unit, and one (1) other designated by the Union. The purpose of the committee shall be to address the following issues affecting Special Education paraprofessional Unit members:

Examples of Special Education Committee in a sentence

  • The parties agree to maintain a Special Education Committee of no more than five (5) representatives appointed by the DOE and no more than five (5) representatives appointed by the Association.

  • A jointly appointed Special Education Committee, co-chaired by a designee of the Association President and the Executive Administrator for Student Services or designee, and comprised of representation from resource room teachers, SLPs, psychologists and specialized program teachers, will meet quarterly to discuss and problem-solve special education topics.

  • The Special Education Committee shall be formed to address issues for both support educators and regular classroom teachers concerning special education programs and students.

  • In addition, an Elementary Special Education Committee and a Secondary Special Education Committee, or a combination of those committees, will meet at least three times per year for each group.

Related to Special Education Committee

  • Banning Committee means a Committee constituted for the purpose of these guidelines by the competent authority. The members of this Committee shall not, at any stage, be connected with the tendering process under reference.

  • Finance Committee means the Finance Committee of the University;

  • Managing Committee means the managing committee entrusted with the management of a trade union;

  • Selection Committee means a committee of individual(s) who evaluate and rank proposals; conduct negotiations; and makes a contract award recommendation to the District and its respective Committees.

  • Retirement Committee means a committee consisting of the Company’s Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of HR Operations and the Compensation & Benefits Manager.

  • Procurement Committee means a Committee constituted by the Employer to perform the functions as such under the terms and conditions of Contract.

  • Transition Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.14.

  • Investment Committee means the committee in charge of investment aspects of the Plan, as described in Article VII.

  • Coordination Committee means the jointly constituted PJM and NYISO committee established to administer the terms and provisions of this Agreement pursuant to Section 35.3.2.

  • Monitoring Committee means the committee established under clause 10 of this Award.

  • Compensation Committee means the Compensation Committee of the Board.

  • Nomination Committee means the nomination committee of the Board established in accordance with Article 114;

  • Standing Committee means a permanent committee with a regular meeting schedule and designated subject matter jurisdiction that is authorized by the Rules of the Senate or the Rules of the House of Representatives.

  • CSR Committee means the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board referred to in section 135 of the Act.

  • Remuneration Committee means the remuneration committee appointed by the Board;

  • Peer review committee means one or more persons acting in a peer review capacity who also serve as an officer, director, trustee, agent, or member of any of the following:

  • Management Committee means in the case of a Competition which is an unincorporated association, the management committee elected to manage the running of the Competition and where the Competition is incorporated it means the Board of Directors appointed in accordance with the articles of association of that company.

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • Ethics Committee means an independent body established in a Member State in accordance with the law of that Member State and empowered to give opinions for the purposes of this Regulation, taking into account the views of laypersons, in particular patients or patients' organisations;

  • Supervisory Committee means an oversight committee elected at a general meeting;

  • Benefits Committee means the Employee Benefits Committee of Textron.

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.

  • Board Committee means those individual members of the Board of Directors who have been appointed by the Board of Directors with the powers and responsibilities specified in Article VIII and to which has been delegated any fiduciary responsibilities of the Board of Directors with respect to the Plan.

  • Joint Committee means the Joint Committee established by Article 164(1) of the withdrawal agreement;

  • Nomination and Remuneration Committee means a Committee of Board of Directors of the Company, constituted in accordance with the provisions of Section 178 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Listing Agreement.
