Special Needs Individual definition

Special Needs Individual means: (i) an individual who has received public assistance through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program within 24 months of applying for a job or job training through this program ; (ii) an individual who is homeless; (iii) an ex- offender; (iv) an individual who is chronically unemployed; or (v) a dislocated airport worker.
Special Needs Individual means a Medicare Advantage (MA) eligible individual who is institutionalized, is entitled to medical assistance under a State Plan under Title XIX, or has a severe or disabling chronic condition(s) and would benefit from enrollment in a specialized MA plan. [See, 42 C.F.R. §422.2].
Special Needs Individual means an individual who, by reason of a physical or mental disability, has special needs respecting the design and construction of the Dwelling Unit occupied by that individual, including any individual who is confined to a wheelchair;

Examples of Special Needs Individual in a sentence

  • The Owner agrees with the City that a Special Needs Unit must be occupied by at least one Special Needs Individual.

  • For clarity, nothing in this Agreement prevents another individual from residing in a Special Needs Unit along with a Special Needs Individual including where the other individual is a Caregiver for the Special Needs Individual.

  • Subject individual means any individual 16 years of age or older on whom the Department may conduct a background check as defined in OAR 407-007-0210 and from whom the Department may require fingerprints for the purpose of conducting a national background check.

  • Covered individual means a person or entity who is a member of any of the following classes:

  • Institutionalized individual means an individual who is an inpatient in a nursing facility, who is an inpatient in a medical institution and with respect to whom payment is made based on a level of care provided in a nursing facility or who is eligible for home- and community-based waiver services.

A resident who removes from the state during a taxable year is considered a resident until such resident has both established a definite domicile elsewhere and abandoned any domicile in this state;

  • Historically disadvantaged individuals (HDIs means all South African citizens –

  • registered individual means an individual who is registered

  • Qualifying country component means a component mined, produced, or manufactured in a qualifying country.

  • Authorized individual means an individual known to and screened by the Licensee and determined to be necessary and appropriate to have access to the Nonpublic Information held by the Licensee and its Information Systems.
