Examples of Specified Governmental Authority in a sentence
No Judgment preventing the consummation of the Merger shall have been issued by any Specified Governmental Authority of competent jurisdiction and remain in effect, and there shall not be any Law enacted or deemed applicable to the Merger by a Specified Governmental Authority that makes consummation of the Merger illegal.
No temporary restraining order, preliminary or permanent injunction or other order preventing the consummation of the Merger shall have been issued by any Specified Governmental Authority in respect of any Specified Law and remain in effect, and there shall not be any Applicable Law enacted or deemed applicable to the Merger by any Specified Governmental Authority in respect of any Specified Law that makes the consummation of the Merger illegal.

The Company is not the subject of any pending or, to the knowledge of the Company, threatened investigation by the FDA pursuant to its Fraud, Untrue Statements of Material Facts, Bribery, and Illegal Gratuities Final Policy or by any other Specified Governmental Authority under any similar policy.
As used in this Section 3.9(g), "Specified Governmental Authority" means any foreign Governmental Authority in a jurisdiction where the Company and its Subsidiaries have more than 1,000 Independent Contractors and "Governmental Action" means any action, suit, proceeding, claim, written inquiry, inspection, investigation, assessment, audit or examination by a foreign Specified Governmental Authority.
