S ection. 4: When the employee returns from Parental Leave (not childcare leave), the school administration will assign the teacher to the same or similar subject or grade level that he/she held at the time the leave commenced.
S ection. 15: Upon written request, the Employer agrees to grant the Union up to 60 hours official time during the first year following the effective date of this agreement and up to 40 hours official time each 12 month period thereafter, for the Union to attend Union, Management, or FLRA sponsored Labor Management training. Requests shall be submitted at least two (2) weeks in advance and include the following:
S ection. 2: Among the stewards identified in Section 1, the Employer will recognize two (2) Chief Stewards, one (1) at XXX Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxx, XX, and one (1) at DLA Distribution Cherry Point, NC. In addition, the President of the Union will designate an alternate Chief Xxxxxxx in the absence of the regular xxxxxxx. S ection 3: Union officials, employed by DLA Aviation/Distribution, shall not have their shift, organizational element, or work week changed unless no other employee in the area possesses the skills or knowledge necessary to accomplish the mission. These officers/representatives, within their job rating and level, shall be the last to be affected by subject changes and the first returned. Any changes affecting the Union xxxxxxx shall be discussed with the Union President or designated representative, prior to effecting the change. The intent of this Section is to avoid, to the maximum extent possible, the change of shifts, organizational elements, or workweek of specified officials.

  • The Company agrees that no such notice shall be effective against the Agent unless it is made to the persons identified in writing by the Agent pursuant to S ection 3(b)(i).

S ection. 2: The Employer and the Union share a mutual interest in assisting employees who are adversely affected by RIF. The parties agree that placement efforts are a priority. The Agency will assign displaced employees in accordance with the provisions of 5 CFR Part 351. In accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and any existing vacancy that the Employer elects to fill will be utilized to place employees in continuing positions that otherwise would be separated from the service. The Employer will support employee job search efforts and will approve employee use of annual leave for this purpose, workload permitting. To the extent practicable, the Employer will provide job education and re-training programs such as resume counseling, lectures, professional conferences, and workshops, etc., during duty hours. The Employer will give consideration to reasonable amounts of duty time for resume preparation, job interviews, etc. for employees who are adversely affected by RIF. The Employer will contact the appropriate state employment service concerning all affected employees for job placement and re-training services.
S ection. 4: No agreement, alteration, understanding, variation, waiver or modification of any terms or conditions contained herein shall be made by any employee or group of employees with the Employer, and in no case shall it be binding upon the Parties hereto until, such agreement is made and executed in writing between the Parties hereto, and approved by DLA Aviation and DLA Distribution, or their designees.
S ection. 10: Upon request by the Employer or the Union, the Parties shall meet at reasonable times to discuss matters of mutual concern. Attendance at such meetings may, at the discretion of the respective parties, include supervisors and the xxxxxxx as appropriate to the matters being discussed. Nothing in this section shall be construed as the right of either party to abrogate its responsibilities to consult or process grievances, or other contractual responsibilities as otherwise prescribed in this Agreement.
S ection. 3: Nothing in this article shall preclude the Employer and the Union from negotiating:
S ection. A: Student Eligibility  Eligibility. Students that have submitted a housing application and $200 housing deposit and are matriculated full-time or part of a College sponsored program are eligible for housing. o Housing Application and License Agreement. All students who wish to reside in housing for the academic year must submit a valid electronic Housing Application and License Agreement with the $200 housing deposit completed online through the FSA Campus Store.  Students are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on their date of deposit. Housing is limited; students are not guaranteed a room when application and deposit are submitted.  The $200 housing deposit and Housing Application and License Agreement can be completed electronically.  Valid applications for students under the age of 18 must contain a parent/guardian signature along with the student signature and may be emailed, faxed or mailed to the Faculty Student Association. o Refund of Housing Deposit Prior to Residing in the Residence Halls.  Request for the refund of the housing deposit must be made in writing, by the student, to the Office of Residence Life through the email: xxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxxxxxx.xxx. Requests must be made prior to July 1 for the fall semester or one week prior to the start of classes in the spring semester. All housing deposits made after July 1 for the fall semester are non-refundable.  Students who are placed on a wait-list and have not been assigned a room will have the option of requesting their deposit back or moving it to the spring semester, in the event housing becomes available.  If a student has an outstanding balance with the College, the requested refund will be applied to that balance first. The remaining balance (if any) will be issued by check from the Business Office in the student’s name and sent to the address that is listed in BANNER.

S ection. 2: As used in this article, the word “strike” shall mean the concerted failure to report for duty, the willful absence from one’s position, the stoppage of work, or the abstinence in whole or in part from the full, faithful, and proper performance of the duties of employment for the purpose of inducing, influencing, or coercing a change in the conditions, or compensation, or the rights, privileges or obligations of employment. Nothing contained in this article shall be construed to limit, impair, or affect the right of any public employee to the expression or communications of a view, grievance, complaint, or opinion on any matter related to the conditions or compensation of public employment, or their betterment, so long as the same is not designed to and does not interfere with the full, faithful, and proper performance of the duties of employment. S ECTION 3: A strike is a violation of Public Act 379. The Hudsonville Board of Education may take appropriate action as deemed necessary for strike violations.
