Standby Meter definition

Standby Meter means a meter connected to CT and VT, other than those used for main meter and check meter and shall be used for accounting and billing of electricity in case of failure of both main meter and check meter;

Examples of Standby Meter in a sentence

  • A set of Main and Check Meters and also Standby Meter of 0.2S accuracy class, as per CEA (Installation & operation of meters) Regulations 2006/IEGC as applicable from time to time, shall be Procured and installed by SPD in each 11/66 kV and on incoming feeder at 66KV side of 66/220kV Pooling Station based on specifications & make provided by KSPDCL.

  • Another set of Main and Check Meters and also Standby Meter of 0.2S accuracy class, as per CEA (Installation & operation of meters) Regulations 2006/IEGC as applicable, shall be Procured and installed by KSPDCL on each incoming feeder at 220kV side of 400/220kV Grid Sub Station (Interconnection point) of CTU i.e., POWERGRID based on specifications & make provided by POWERGRID.

  • Another set of Main and Check Meters and also Standby Meter of 0.2S accuracy class, as per CEA (Installation & operation of meters) Regulations 2006/IEGC as applicable, shall be Procured and installed by SPD on each incoming feeder at 220KV side of 400/220kV Grid Sub Station (Interconnection point) of CTU i.e., POWERGRID based on specifications & make provided by KSPDCL/POWERGRID.

  • A set of Main and Check Meters and also Standby Meter of 0.2S accuracy class, as per CEA (Installation & operation of meters) Regulations 2006/IEGC as applicable from time to time, shall be Procured and installed by SPD on each incoming feeder at 66KV side of 66/220kV Pooling Station based on specifications & make provided by KSPDCL.

  • Main, Check & Standby Meter shall be procured, installed and maintained by M/s TP Saurya Limited throughout the terms of PPA or life span of the wind/solar plant whichever is later at their cost.

  • Similar meter (export and import) of the same accuracy shall be installed by the SPD at the line isolator on outgoing feeder on HV side of Generator Transformer (hereinafter called Standby Meter).

  • Similar meter, (export and import) of the same accuracy shall be installed by the PSPCL at the Grid Substation of PSPCL/PSTCL where power is received (hereinafter called Standby Meter).

Related to Standby Meter

  • Rack means a mechanism for delivering motor vehicle fuel or diesel from a refinery or terminal into a truck, trailer, railroad car, or other means of non-bulk transfer.
