State infrastructure agency definition

State infrastructure agency means the department, the department of transportation, the department of education, the department of health, the department of state, the New York state environmental facilities corporation, the New York state housing finance agency, the housing trust fund corporation, the dormitory authority, the thruway authority, the port authority of New York and New Jersey, the empire state development corporation, the New York state urban development corporation and all other New York authorities. Any subsidiary of, or corporation with the same members or directors as, a public benefit corporation identified in this subdivision shall also be deemed to be within the definition of state infrastructure agency under this article.
State infrastructure agency means the department, the
State infrastructure agency means the division of health, Division of Environmental Protection, Housing Development Fund, Public Service Commission, state Development Office, water development authority, economic development authority and any other state agency, division, body, authority, commission, instrumentality or entity which now or in the future receives applications for the funding of, and provides funding or technical assistance to, the planning, acquisition, construction or improvement of a project;

Examples of State infrastructure agency in a sentence

  • If the Council determines that the project is not eligible for funding assistance from any State infrastructure agency, or that the project is not otherwise an appropriate or prudent investment of State funds, it shall recommend that the project sponsor not seek funding from any State infrastructure agency.

  • If the Council determines that the project is consistent with the Act, it shall make a written recommendation for the project financing stating: (i) the loan, loan guarantee or grant, or any combination thereof, for which the project sponsor should apply; (ii) the amount or amounts of the loan, loan guarantees or grant; (iii) the source or sources of the funding and (iv) which State infrastructure agency or agencies should consider funding the project, including funding from the Infrastructure Fund.

  • Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • Renewable energy facility means an electric generation unit or other facility or installation that produces electric energy using a Renewable Energy Source.

  • Train Loading Infrastructure means conveyors, stockpile areas, blending and screening facilities, stackers, re‑claimers and other infrastructure reasonably required for the loading of iron ore, freight goods or other products onto the relevant Railway for transport (directly or indirectly) to a loading port; and

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
