Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility definition

Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility means a facility (other than a Hospital) whose primary function is the treatment of a Substance Use Disorder and is licensed by the appropriate state and local authority to provide such service. It does not include half-way houses, boarding houses or other facilities that provide primarily a supportive environment, even if counseling is provided in such facilities.
Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility means a hospital or facility which is licensed by the state in which it is located as a hospital or as a community residential facility for substance use disorder and substance use disorder treatment, unless we can establish through a pre-admission certification process that services are not available at a facility that meets these requirements.
Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility means a children’s residential substance use disorder care facility that is maintained and operated for the provision of substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation services, as outlined in Section 8(B) of this rule. A substance use disorder treatment facility is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services.
