Superintendent Level definition

Superintendent Level. If the employee filed his complaint with a principal, the Business Manager or any other central office administrator, he/she shall enter the grievance at the Superintendent level. If the employee filed his/her complaint with the Superintendent, he/she shall enter the grievance at the Board level.

  • In any event, actions resulting in written or oral communications from the Principal or direct supervisor can not be initiated at the Superintendent Level.

  • Any employee who believes that his or her seniority is incorrect may file a written grievance directly at Step 1 (Superintendent Level 2) and thereafter proceed to arbitration consistent with the Grievance Procedure.

  • If not satisfied with the decision at the Supervisor Level, the aggrieved or the Association may proceed to the Superintendent Level within five (5) work days of the Supervisor Level decision.

  • Such action must be initiated within ten (10) work days after the decision is rendered at the Superintendent Level.
