Suspension of a student definition

Suspension of a student means that during a specified period of time, the student shall be denied admission to the university. Subject to the rules and regulations of each institution concerning enrollment at the institution, a suspended student shall be reinstated to the university at the expiration of the suspension period provided that during the suspension period the student has not committed acts of misconduct specified in 9.1(2). A suspended student whose reinstatement is denied on the basis of alleged acts of misconduct committed during this suspension period shall have a right to a hearing on that issue, as provided in 9.1(3).
Suspension of a student means a student who is penalised under Rule 48(d) Universiti Malaysia Sabah Rules (Students’ Disciplinary) 1999 or section 150 of the Universities and Colleges Act 1971 (Act 30);

Examples of Suspension of a student in a sentence

  • A Disciplinary Suspension of a student will indicate the date on which the suspension period begins and the earliest date the application for student readmission will be considered.

  • Suspension of a student will usually be made to In-School Suspension (ISS) rather than a student’s being suspended out of school.

  • Benchmark Modification or Cessation Event means, in respect of the Benchmark any of the following has occurred or will occur:

The following acts, considered in context, may constitute prima facie evidence of the solicitation by an educator of a romantic relationship with a student:

  • Serialization within the part, lot, or batch number means each item of a particular part, lot, or batch number is assigned a unique serial number within that part, lot, or batch number assignment. The enterprise is responsible for ensuring unique serialization within the part, lot, or batch number within the enterprise identifier.

  • Notification of Award means date which is earlier of either a Fax of Intent (FOI) or Letter of Intent (LOI) or Letter of Award (LOA) issued to a successful bidder for award of the work pursuant to bidding process.

  • Placed for adoption means the assumption and retention of a legal obligation by a person for the total or partial support of a child in anticipation of adoption of the child.
