Taxes & Duties definition

Taxes & Duties. Unless specified otherwise on the face of the Order, the prices are inclusive of, and Seller shall be solely responsible for and pay, all federal, state, and local taxes and/or duties including, but not limited to, value added tax, goods and services tax, sales, use or consumption tax. No sales or use tax shall be added when a valid tax exemption is indicated on the face of this Order by the Buyer.
Taxes & Duties means the taxes & duties reimbursable/payable by the Owner to the contractor as per the provisions of Tender Documents.

  • All the terms & conditions of the contract with respect to Taxes & Duties are subject to the new taxation laws introduced from time to time (e.g., GST).

  • Customs Duties means any customs or import duty and a charge of any kind imposed in connection with the importation of a good, but does not include any:

  • Responsibilities means the responsibilities delegated to BNY under the Rule as a Foreign Custody Manager with respect to each Specified Country and each Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by BNY, as such responsibilities are more fully described in Article III of this Agreement.

Expenses also shall include Expenses incurred in connection with any appeal resulting from any Proceeding (as defined below), including without limitation the principal, premium, security for, and other costs relating to any cost bond, supersedeas bond, or other appeal bond or its equivalent. Expenses, however, shall not include amounts paid in settlement by Indemnitee or the amount of judgments or fines against Indemnitee.

  • Operation and Maintenance Expenses or ‘O&M expenses' means the expenditure incurred on operation and maintenance of the project, or part thereof, and includes the expenditure on manpower, repairs, spares, consumables, insurance and overheads;
