Te Pūkenga definition

Te Pūkenga or “employer” shall mean the original employer party to this Collective Agreement.

  • Te Pūkenga considers allegations regarding kaimahi behaviour warrant it, the kaimahi concerned may be suspended either on pay or without pay.

  • Should at some time in the future, an amendment to that legislation, or new paid parental leave legislation require Te Pūkenga to pay all or part of parental leave, the provisions in this clause will be inclusive of what Te Pūkenga is required to pay.

  • These employee protection provisions are to be read in conjunction with the organisational change provisions in this Agreement that appear in Clause 11.5. When consulting on matters within this Employee Protection Provision, Te Pūkenga will provide TEU with relevant information about the proposal and details of how and when it is likely to impact on the affected identified members.

  • Te Pūkenga will also advise kaimahi and explain the implications of their right to accept or decline to transfer to the new employer.

  • Te Pūkenga will ensure that any potential affected kaimahi are clearly identified.

  • Xxxxxxx must give Te Pūkenga at least one month’s notice of intention to return to work before parental leave expires.

  • If both partners are employed at Te Pūkenga and are eligible for paid parental leave, they are entitled to six weeks paid leave between them and they may choose who will receive it, or they may choose to apportion it between them.

  • Te Pūkenga will subsequently advise TEU and affected kaimahi as to whether employment opportunities exist with the new employer and, if so, the nature of those opportunities.

  • Accordingly, the parties agree to maintain a Kaimahi Participation Agreement (the Worker Participation Agreement or WPA) in accordance with Part 3, Subpart 1 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 Te Pūkenga will encourage kaimahi engagement in health and safety work practices through participation and representation processes and mechanisms.

  • Schengen area means the area without internal borders comprising the territories of the Member States as defined in point (a) applying the Schengen acquis in full.

  • Zone 2 means British Columbia and Alberta Receipt Points and Liquids Receipt Points at or upstream of the Blueberry Hill Compressor Station. ARTICLE 2 QUALITY‌ 2.1 Subject to Articles 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 21.1 hereof, Gas tendered to Transporter at Receipt Points shall conform to the following Quality Specifications:‌

  • Shopping Centre means a grouping of commercial retail outlets which have been designed, developed and managed as a unit by a single owner or group of owners or tenants located on the same lot or lots with a frontage not less than 45 metres and having common on-site parking;

  • Environmental Management Plan or “EMP” means the environmental management plan for the Project, including any update thereto, incorporated in the IEE;

  • Camp or “camping” means to pitch, erect, create, use, or occupy camp facilities for the purposes of habitation, as evidenced by the use of camp paraphernalia.

  • Urban renewal area means a slum area or a blighted area or a combination thereof which the municipality designates as appropriate for an urban renewal project.

  • Environmental Management Framework or “EMF” means the environmental management framework dated October 2001, satisfactory to the Association, setting out the principles, policies and procedures for assessing and mitigating the environmental and social impacts of CI schemes, as the same may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association;

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • SONIA means, in respect of any Business Day, a reference rate equal to the daily Sterling Overnight Index Average rate for such Business Day as provided by the administrator of SONIA to authorised distributors and as then published on the Relevant Screen Page or, if the Relevant Screen Page is unavailable, as otherwise published by such authorised distributors in each case on the Business Day immediately following such Business Day;

  • Coma means being in a state of complete mental unresponsiveness, with no evidence of appropriate responses to stimulation.

  • SITC means the Standard International Trade Classification, Revision 3 (SITC, Rev. 3), published by the United Nations in Statistical Papers, Series M, No. 34/Rev. 3 (1986);

  • POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013;

  • Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;

  • Enterprise zone means a neighborhood enterprise zone designated under the neighborhood enterprise zone act, 1992 PA 147, MCL 207.771 to 207.787.

  • Acute pain means the normal, predicted physiological response to a noxious chemical, thermal or mechanical stimulus and typically is associated with invasive procedures, trauma and disease. Generally, acute pain is self-limited, lasting no more than a few weeks following the initial stimulus.

  • Waterway means any body of water.
