Temporary BMPs definition

Temporary BMPs means those temporary BMPs such as, but not limited to, silt fence, wattles, vehicle tracking pads, inlet filters, diversions, sediment ponds and dewatering structures, to be installed and regularly maintained until the site is sufficiently stabilized.
Temporary BMPs means BMPs that will discontinue or be removed from the Site after construction or land disturbing activities are complete.
Temporary BMPs means those temporary and permanent sediment and erosion control BMPs such as, but not limited to, silt fence, wattles, vehicle tracking control pads, inlet filters, diversions, rundowns, sediment traps and ponds, dewatering structures, rip rap, erosion control mats and concrete washouts to be installed and regularly maintained to prevent erosion and keep sediment from discharging off-site until the site is sufficiently stabilized.

Examples of Temporary BMPs in a sentence

  • Temporary BMPs shall be implemented to stabilize soil on graded or disturbed areas as soon as feasible during construction, where there is a potential for soil erosion to lead to discharge of sediment off-site or to coastal waters.
