The Transmission System Operator definition

The Transmission System Operator means an entity that is exercising a transmission function and is in charge of assurance of operation and maintenance of the transmission system and, if necessary, is responsible for the development of the transmission system in a specific territory and in certain circumstances – in charge of interconnection of the transmission system with other systems and assurance that the system’s long-term capacity is sufficient to satisfy a reasonable demand for gas transportation. The definition of the transmission system operator applied in the Regulation shall mean all three Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian natural gas transmission system operators jointly and each of them severally unless expressly indicated otherwise.

The Transmission System Operator means a person as defined in Article 2(4) of the Directive No. 2009/73/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2019 concerning common rules for the internal market in natural gas and repealing Directive 2003/55/EC.   • Network Transmission Service means transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Tariff, Part III, or transmission service comparable to such service that is provided to a Load Serving Entity that is also a Transmission Owner.

  • telecommunication system means any system (including the apparatus comprised in it) which exists (whether wholly or partly in Jersey or elsewhere) for the purpose of facilitating the transmission of communications by any means involving the use of electrical or electro- magnetic energy;

Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Production System means a live SAP system used for running Licensee’s internal business operations and where Licensee’s data is recorded.

Renewable energy system includes a biomass stove but does not include an incinerator or digester.
