Training Pay. The Contractor and each individual Operator they intend to employ during the season shall attend a mandatory two (2) hour pre-season training class. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss snow removal policies and procedures. A compensation of Fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($50.00) will be paid to the Contractor for each Operator, (up to three (3) per truck being supplied), who attend the class. The compensation shall be paid subject to the Contractor’s equipment being approved for use, on or around December 1, 2021. No compensation will be given for attendance at makeup training sessions having to be scheduled during the season either due to failure to attend the pre-season class or substitution of an Operator. Signed agreements should be submitted to the City by October 15, 2021. Signed agreements must be received by the City prior the Contractor’s employees being allowed to attend training and/or have their equipment calibrated. Invoicing: The Contractor will submit an invoice by the fifteenth (15th) of each month for Services rendered. Invoices submitted after the fifteenth will be paid the following month. The invoice must indicate what dates and hours were worked for each route less any time as noted above for non- compensable periods. Time submitted will be rounded up or down to the nearest quarter hour. The Contractor will submit a final invoice after March 31, 2022, for all remaining compensation due to the Contractor, and after the Contractor has returned all complete snow route map books, AVL devices, hand-held radios and signs to the City. All items must be returned no later than April 17, 2022.

Related to Training Pay

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Services means those functional services ancillary to the supply of the goods, such as transportation and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training, catering, gardening, security, maintenance and other such obligations of the supplier covered under the contract.

  • Consultant means any person, including an advisor, engaged by the Company or a Parent or Subsidiary to render services to such entity.

  • Subcontractor means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a prime contractor or another subcontractor.

  • Employee means an employee of the Contractor directly engaged in the performance of work under the contract who has other than a minimal impact or involvement in contract performance.

  • Supplier means the successful bidder who is awarded the contract to maintain and administer the required and specified service(s) to the State.

  • Contract Price means the price payable to the supplier under the contract for the full and proper performance of his contractual obligations.

  • Operator means the operator of an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application with actual knowledge that the site, service, or application is used for K–12 school purposes. Any entity that operates an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application that has entered into a signed, written agreement with an LEA to provide a service to that LEA shall be considered an “operator” for the purposes of this section.

  • Client means the Project lead of technical wing of the Purchaser for whose’ particular project the Goods / Services have been procured or any other person, duly appointed in writing, by the Client, for the time being or from time to time, to act as Client for the purposes of the Contract.

  • Employer as defined in Section 3(5) of ERISA.

  • Customer means the State agency or other entity identified in a contract as the party to receive commodities or contractual services pursuant to a contract or that orders commodities or contractual services via purchase order or other contractual instrument from the Contractor under the Contract. The “Customer” may also be the “Buyer” as defined in the PUR 1001 if it meets the definition of both terms.

  • Termination Date The scheduled Agreement “termination date” shall be the last day of the month of the month of the Original Solicitation’s Anticipated Award Date plus three years. Example: If the original term is approximately three years, and the solicitation provides an anticipated award date of May 22, 2020, the expiration date of the original three-year term shall be May 31, 2023. Extensions: Any extensions of the original term shall begin on the next day after the day the original term expires. Example Following the Previous Example: If TIPS offers a one-year extension, the expiration of the extended term shall be May 31, 2024. TIPS may offer to extend Vendor Agreements to the fullest extent the original Solicitation permits.

  • Software means computer programs, whether in source code or object code form (including any and all software implementation of algorithms, models and methodologies), databases and compilations (including any and all data and collections of data), and all documentation (including user manuals and training materials) related to the foregoing.

  • Unadjusted Benchmark Replacement means the applicable Benchmark Replacement excluding the related Benchmark Replacement Adjustment.

  • EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.

  • Taxes means all present or future taxes, levies, imposts, duties, deductions, withholdings (including backup withholding), assessments, fees or other charges imposed by any Governmental Authority, including any interest, additions to tax or penalties applicable thereto.

  • SOFR means a rate equal to the secured overnight financing rate as administered by the SOFR Administrator.

  • Benchmark Replacement Date means the earliest to occur of the following events with respect to the then-current Benchmark:

  • Benchmark Replacement Adjustment means, with respect to any replacement of the then-current Benchmark with an Unadjusted Benchmark Replacement for any applicable Interest Period and Available Tenor for any setting of such Unadjusted Benchmark Replacement:

  • Child means a person under the age of 18 years;

  • Licensee has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • License means any certificate, license, permit or grant of permission required by the laws of this state, its political subdivisions or instrumentalities as a condition for the lawful practice of any occupation, employment, trade, vocation, business, or profession. Provided, however, that "license" shall not, for the purposes of this article, include any license or permit to own, possess, carry, or fire any explosive, pistol, handgun, rifle, shotgun, or other firearm.

  • price means an amount of money tendered for goods or services, and includes all applicable taxes less all unconditional discounts;
