Transaction Business definition

Transaction Business means a commercial establishment's solicitations to rent motor vehicles via the printed or telecommunications media, or delivery of motor vehicles for rent, or obtaining of signed rental agreements, or arrangements for or obligation of payment for rental of a motor vehicle.
Transaction Business is a business engaged in the processing or facilitating the processing of transactions of the following types: reimbursement, indemnity or other payment claims by and among physicians, hospitals, health maintenance organizations, governmental entities and other providers, pharmacies and payors, as well as related transactions, including, without limitation, eligibility, adjudication, refusals and formulary checks, irrespective of the manner, mode, communications method or platform through which such business is conducted from time to time which generated during the last full fiscal year more than $100,000,000 in gross revenues from the operations of the Transaction Business.
Transaction Business refers to the business of processing or facilitating the processing of transactions, of the following type: reimbursement, indemnity, or payment or other related claims or encounters by and among physicians, hospitals, health maintenance organizations, governmental entities, and other providers, pharmacies, and payors, as well as eligibility, adjudication, referrals, formulary checks, and similar transactions, irrespective of the manner, mode, communications method or platform through which such business is conducted from time to time, and giving effect to evolutionary or other developments in the scope of and manner in which such business generally is conducted going forward. Without limiting the foregoing, the term "Transaction Business" includes the business conducted as of the date of this Agreement (and evolutions thereof) by Envoy and by Healtheon's Affiliate MedeAmerica, Inc.

Examples of Transaction Business in a sentence

  • Any resulting payment shall be due and payable two Transaction Business Days following the giving of a notice that such amount is due and payable.

  • Upon completion of Physical Settlement by the relevant Matched Pair of a Physically Settled Cleared Transaction, Matched Buyer and Matched Seller shall inform LCH SA as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event before the date falling two Transaction Business Days following such completion (the Physical Settlement Confirmation Deadline) by notice (a Physical Settlement Confirmation) in the form set out at Appendix VII hereto.

  • To exercise such option, the relevant Matched Buyer and Matched Seller must each notify LCH SA accordingly (in the form set out in Appendix V hereto) specifying the relevant Matched Contracts in respect of the related relevant Settlement Matched Pair Delivery Amounts and obtain the consent of LCH SA, which consent will not be unreasonably withheld or delayedby more than one Transaction Business Day following receipt of such notification by Matched Buyer and Matched Seller.

  • To the extent Business Associate conducts on behalf of Covered Entity all or part of a Transaction, Business Associate shall comply with the Electronic Transactions Rule.

  • Any Restructuring Cleared Transaction (or portion thereof) in respect of which a valid Credit Event Notice is not delivered during the relevant CEN Triggering Period shall become eligible for compression in accordance with Chapter 3 (Compression) of Title III (Clearing Operations)of the CDS Clearing Rule Book on the Transaction Business Day following the related Exercise Cut-off Date applicable to the relevant Buyer.

  • LCH SA will send the relevant reports referred to in Section 5 of the Procedures to the relevant Clearing Members on the Transaction Business Day following such DTCC Re-versioning Date which will be updated so as to refer to Cleared Transactions referencing the revised index version.

  • Laws and regulations surrounding the housing business include the Personal Information Protection Act, Building Standards Law, Construction Industry Law, Registered Architect Law, Building Lots and Building Transaction Business Law, Urban Planning Law, National Land Use Planning Law, Housing Quality Assurance Law, and Waste Disposal and Public Cleaning Law (law concerning procedures for waste disposal and site clean-up).

Related to Transaction Business

  • Related Business Assets means assets (other than cash or Cash Equivalents) used or useful in a Similar Business; provided that any assets received by the Issuer or a Restricted Subsidiary in exchange for assets transferred by the Issuer or a Restricted Subsidiary shall not be deemed to be Related Business Assets if they consist of securities of a Person, unless upon receipt of the securities of such Person, such Person would become a Restricted Subsidiary.

  • Retained Businesses means all businesses, operations and activities directly or indirectly conducted or formerly conducted by the Seller Group other than the Business (including all businesses, operations and activities related to any dealerships sold or disposed of prior to the date hereof).

  • Qualified business means a for-profit business that obtains services relating to that business from 30 or fewer employees or employees of independent contractors performing services substantially similar to employees during a random week in the year ending on the tax day. If a person is a unified business group as that term is defined in section 117 of the Michigan business tax act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1117, the number of employees from whom services are obtained includes all employees of the unitary business group and employees of independent contractors of the unitary business group rendering services to the qualified business.
