Transmission Planned Outage definition

Transmission Planned Outage means any transmission outage scheduled in advance for a pre-determined duration and which meets the notification requirements for such outages specified in Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix or the PJM Manuals. Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

Examples of Transmission Planned Outage in a sentence

  • Proposed Transmission Planned Outage or Maintenance Outage information submitted by a TSP or Resource Entity in accordance with this Section constitutes a request for ERCOT’s approval of the Outage Schedule associated with the Planned Outage or Maintenance Outage.

  • ERCOT shall acknowledge each request for approval of a Transmission Planned Outage or Maintenance Outage schedule within two Business Hours of the receipt of the request.

  • Transmission Owners shall use reasonable efforts to submit Transmission Planned Outage schedules one year in advance but by no later than the first of the month six months in advance of the requested start date for all outages that are expected to exceed five working days duration, with regular (at least monthly) updates as new information becomes available.
