Transport Document definition

Transport Document means a document which evidences a contract of carriage and the taking over or loading of goods by a carrier, made out in the form of a bill of lading or consignment note or of any other document used in trade;
Transport Document means a document issued by a Carrier to a shipper, acknowledging that specified the Goods have been received on board as cargo for conveyance to a named Place of Destination as described in greater detail in Clause 3.2.2 of the GTC.
