Examples of Tribal consultation in a sentence

  • ADOT is continuing FHWA’s previous determination that, due to the limited scope and nature of RTP projects, Tribal consultation is not required for RTP projects unless Tribal land is involved.

Tribal consultation. The nPA outlines framework for how the BLM will consult with Tribes in the context of an ongoing government-to-government relationship and to obtain their views on the potential effects on historic properties of significance to them. However, it should be noted that the nPA only establishes broad goals for Tribal engagement; specific policies and procedures are established at the Department or Bureau level through handbooks and manuals (or as directed by laws, regulations, and executive actions).
