Tribal Development Plan definition

Tribal Development Plan means Tamil Nadu’s Tribal Development Plan for the Project, dated May 27, 2004 which is designed to address the specific health needs of tribal people under the Project, and such Tribal Development Plan as may be amended from time to time by agreement between the Association and Tamil Nadu.
Tribal Development Plan means the plan for the Project, adopted by the State on March 31, 2009 and incorporated into the Project Implementation Plan; said Plan setting forth an action plan and measures to ensure that tribal populations within the Project area receive social and economic benefits that are culturally appropriate.
Tribal Development Plan means the Tribal Development Plan of the Borrower dated December 2003, which, inter-alia, delineates the strategy for increased participation of tribal children in the Program.

  • Karnataka and KRWSSA shall: (a) carry out the Project in accordance with the EMP and the Tribal Development Plan in a manner satisfactory to the Association; and (b) ensure that the environmental and social performance indicators contained in the EMP and Tribal Development Plan are updated and monitored regularly, in agreement with the Association.

More Definitions of Tribal Development Plan

Tribal Development Plan means the strategy set forth as Chapter U of the PIP, dated May 3, 2005, and amended on August 3, 2010, prepared in consultation with the local communities in districts participating in the Project to ensure that the scheduled tribes benefit from the activities financed under the Project.
Tribal Development Plan means the plan dated November 2002 prepared by Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the local communities in the project area to ensure that the tribal population in Andhra Pradesh benefit from the activities financed under the Project; and
Tribal Development Plan or “TDP” means the Tribal Development Strategy and Action Plan, dated January 18, 2002, issued by Andhra Pradesh, and describing a program of actions, measures and policies designed to maximize the benefits accruing to tribal groups and avoid or mitigate potential impacts adversely affecting such groups under the Project;
Tribal Development Plan means the tribal development plan (formerly referred to as Indigenous Peoples Development Plan), agreed with the Association, dated November 6, 2001, as amended to the date of this Agreement, and as the same may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Association.
Tribal Development Plan means the Tribal Development Plan furnished to the Association in April, 2003, which is designed to: (i) increase outreach to the tribal areas; (ii) provide culturally compatible IEC for the promotion of health education and case definitions of diseases in the tribal areas; (iii) train volunteers in tribal communities; and (iv) utilize tribal youth as community mobilizers and communicators, as the said Tribal Development Plan may be amended from time to time by agreement between the Borrower and the Association.
