Unauthorised Purpose definition

Unauthorised Purpose has the meaning given to it in clause 5.4(b) of this document.
Unauthorised Purpose means a purpose that is not connected with –

  • Cards cannot be used for (a) obtaining cash back at the point of sale; or (b) any Card Unauthorised Purpose.

  • Stripe may prevent you from redeeming funds in the Stripe Issuing Account if Stripe believes your use (or intended use) of the Stripe Issuing Account (a) breaches this Agreement or any other agreement between you and Stripe; (b) is for any Card Unauthorised Purpose; or (c) would expose you, Stripe or others to risks unacceptable to Stripe.

  • Cards are the property of Stripe and Stripe may, in its reasonable discretion, suspend or cancel a Card at any time, including as required by Law or Card Network Rules, or if a Card is used for a Card Unauthorised Purpose.

  • Stripe may reject any Connected Account application for, and terminate any Stripe Issuing Accountholder’s access to, the Stripe Issuing Services immediately if any Connected Account, Stripe Issuing Accountholder, Principal Owner, Stripe Issuing Administrator, Card Authorised User, representative, or individual with significant responsibility for management is or becomes a High-Risk Person or uses the Stripe Issuing Program for a Card Unauthorised Purpose.

  • The Client must not use or permit any other person to use the Services for any Unauthorised Purpose.

  • Unauthorised Purpose: Any activity for which a vehicle is used which could not reasonably be anticipated by the Company as being necessary for the performance of services provided by the Company or within the duties of the person or persons involved.

  • Unauthorized signature means one made without actual, implied, or apparent authority and includes a forgery.

  • Unauthorized Use means either of the following:

  • Unauthorised expenditure , means any expenditure incurred by a municipality otherwise than in accordance with section 15 or 11(3) of the MFMA, and includes-

  • Unauthorized alien means an alien as defined in Section 1324a(h)(3) of Title 8 of the United States Code.

  • Authorised User means those employees, agents and independent contractors of the Customer who are authorised by the Customer to use the Services.

  • Unauthorized Gas means (a) the quantity of gas taken by Customer exceeding the amount which is permitted during a Period of Interruption or (b) the difference (whether positive or negative) between the quantity of gas taken by Customer and the volumes provided for under an Operational Flow Order.

  • Unauthorized Third Party means any person or entity that, at the time of the Computer Fraud, is not an Authorized User.

  • Authorised Users means those employees, agents and independent contractors of Customer or a Customer Affiliate who have been authorised by Customer to use the Products in accordance with these Terms.

  • Unauthorized disclosure or "unauthorized release" means any disclosure or release not permitted by federal or state statute or regulation, any lawful contract or written agreement, or that does not respond to a lawful order of a court or tribunal or other lawful order.

  • Unauthorized Access means the entrance of a person into a restricted area without permission of the operator or the operator’s designated representative.

  • Unauthorized Removal means the Contractor’s removal of Key Personnel without the prior written consent of the State.

  • Unauthorized Code means any virus, Trojan horse, worm or other software routines or equipment components whose effect is to permit unauthorized access or to disable, erase or otherwise harm software, equipment or data, or to perform any other actions not authorized by Customer.

  • Agreed Purpose has the meaning given to it in clause 2 of this Agreement.

  • Unauthorized person means any person who accesses government data without a work assignment that reasonably requires access, or regardless of the person's work assignment, for a purpose not described in the procedures required by section 13.05, subdivision 5.

  • intended purpose means the purpose for which the Technical Information is provided to the Supplier under or in connection with a Contract.

  • Agreed Purposes as defined in Section 10.14.

  • authorised party means the party referred to in Article XIII(3);

  • Permitted Purpose means any activity or process to be undertaken or supervised by a Staff member of one Party during the term of this Agreement, for which purpose authorised disclosure of the other Party’s Confidential Information or Intellectual Property is a prerequisite in order to enable such activity or process to be accomplished;

  • Unauthorized insurer means an insurance institution that has not been granted a certificate of authority by the commissioner to transact the business of insurance in this state."

  • Approved Purpose means the activity or purpose for which the Hirer wishes to use the Venue (and for which the Shire has had an opportunity to assess and approve)

  • ours means the University of Southampton, Highfield, Southampton SO17 1BJ.

  • authorised person means the Client or any person (including any individual or entity) authorised by the Client to act on its behalf in the performance of any act, discretion or duty under this Agreement (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any officer or employee of such person) in a notice reasonably acceptable to the Custodian.

  • Authorized Purpose means the specific purpose or purposes described in the Base Contract for Contractor to fulfill its obligations under the Base Contract, or any other purpose expressly authorized by HHS in writing in advance.

  • Violent felony means any offense that, if committed by an adult, would constitute a felony and:

  • Improper influence means any influence that induces or tends to induce a PHA/IHA employee or officer to give consideration or to act regarding a PHA/IHA contract on any basis other than the merits of the matter.
